This asshat and all his appointed asshats should be marched in front of the state house in Wisconsin and put on display wearing orange jump suits with department of corrections numbers on the front with a big letter P in white on the back.

Voter ID laws don't protect against election fraud, they ARE election fraud. Disenfranchising voters who can't prove who they are assumes guilt (lack of citizenship) without due process. If someone is suspected of voter fraud, it should be proven after the fact, not assumed simply because the voter has no ID. Voters, like everyone else protected by the Constitution, are innocent until proven guilty. The fact that a voter has no ID can't be used as proof of intent to commit voter fraud. In pre 9/11 America this law would have been declared as unconstitutional as poll taxes and qualification tests. It is, in fact, designed to serve the same exclusionary purpose. The GOP is totally despicable!

Saw that on Maddow or something a bit ago. You have to specifically ask for the free ID. IOW, state has ordered state employees to basically try and rob the poor.... yet again.
