    • I learned that good men die. My grandfather of cancer (korea) all those young men who looked like my Dad in Vietnam, John, my Dad (car wreck) Martin Luther and Robert. All dead. But worst of all war kills kids. burns them, leaves them orphans with moms gone mad from grief. My grief, their grief. All my life, all my "dates" till 74 were going to die. All my life, all my husbands were going to die, young. Still are. I see camo and I cringe. I can't watch the local news (colorado springs) because of the boys and men blown up, who have killed themselves, and worse of all the feel good news of homecomings and memorials and military families being "brave". I hate the phrase; " died for our freedom", fought for our freedom? Someone give me and us, freedom from grief, loss and bloodshed
