The entire field is a disgrace. I was not surprised however at what Ron Paul said. At the last debate he said he'd take free school lunches away from poor kids because it is not the responsibility of government.It's not that big of a stretch to watching a sick man die because he has no insurance. I thank Wolf Blitzer for the question, but I already knew Paul was a fool. He does not deserve to even visit the White House on a guided tour.

Thank God Ron Paul does not speak for the majority of us. I take comfort in the fact that on the very next day a group of people saved a motorcyclist from dying by literally lifting up the car under which he was trapped. That is how I like to view my fellow citizens. Ron Paul is certifiably insane.He makes me ashamed of Texas, but I also know that he does not represent my state, only a small portion of small-minded bigoted individuals, who care only about themselves and the almighty dollar.

It reminds me of the old joke about the guy that asks a women if she would have sex with him for a million dollars and she says yes. I am not a huge fan of the current administration but I have seen no proof that they are full of hatred and bigotry. Quite the opposite they bend over backwards to placate everyone.

My only problem with Pres. Obama is the fact that he tries to compromise with the GOP even when he knows they have no desire to play the game.

I'm weary too but not so much that I'd choose Darth Vader's cousin to take his place.

The GOP is not full of stupid people they know exactly what they are doing. The leaders of the party know that Obama is vulnerable and could be beaten by a six pack and a roast beef sandwich.

So far the best GOP candidates are terrible. They are either flat beer or no bread and none of them is capable of beating Obama. The reason why, they do not want to win this election and they are intentionally throwing it like they did in '08.

The leaders of the GOP understand that Bush screwed up the country so bad that it is not fixable within 8 years and they want to be in office when we finally do recover so they can take the credit.

The problem is you are quick to respond but you did not read about a government run program - Medicare that refused to provide coverage for a man with breast cancer. The reason - he is a man! This has nothing to do with insurance companies but it has everything to do with our government decisions.

I watched it live last night and Ron Paul did say that he never turned anyone away because they did not have an insurance and in the past community came through.

He said that the HOSPITAL that was run by CATHOLIC Nuns and their Church would do their best to NOT turn people away.

Is this how we rely on healthcare here in America? And think about it. MOST of those charity hospitals have been taken over by "For Profit" PRIVATE entities now. There have been so many charitable and public hospitals that have closed in recent years that you would be hardpressed to find one now.

Think about this TOO, if YOU were lying in a ditch, which PARTY would step over your body as they walked by you when you were MOST in need of help?

The sad truth is, there is no argument that our rich and greedy homeland has room for homelessness, poverty, lack of healthcare, corrupt judicial system. My homeland is a country that sends it's sons to war and does not provide basic care for those that return alive, country where a 101 year old senior is evicted from her home, country where judge gets kickbacks for sending preteens and teens to prison, country where so many talk about freedom and liberty but none that actually have it.

Our two party government system is beyond broken. There is no excuse for one party pointing a finger at the other, and swap places every four years. Make no mistake; Democrats are just as guilty as Republicans. Regardless of party affiliation members of exclusive enrichment club - our government "leaders" make decisions like in a chess game where you and I are not even pawns.

Your water bill pays for water usage. Your sewage bill pays for sewage upkeep. What don't you understand about this. I'm not going to pay YOUR water bill just because you wanted to spend your money on something else and now don't have money to pay YOUR bill. You are responsible for YOU. I am responsible for ME. If YOU stop paying your water bill YOU lose your running water.

and together we responsably pitch in to create our collective water grid.other wise it would cost us each millions of dollars to lay the pipe, and pay the people who purify and manage it.

are you under the impression that when you pay your water bill that some portion of your few dollars is how we pay the guys who work for the water company?
i mean really, take your bill and multiply it by the population of your town.how many people would that be able to employ to keep the water safe to use?

....ugh... there are more than 1.3 million people in my county... Sacramento. a monthly bill of $50+ per month for water usage per household is definitely MORE than enough... not to mention the fact that the water company makes a lot of money exporting much of our water to southern cities
