This is a battle for the nation, not just Wisconsin. If Walker is allowed to get away with this , then all the right wing governors who were elected in 2010 will think they can do it with impunity. Send money to the recall effort.

- Wisconsin in improved financial conditionWisconson liberals, give it up. You're costing your state money in protests where you trashed your capital and the expense of an unsuccessful recall effort.

Not to be a proverbial buzz kill about the Republicans holding control after the recall and other such things, but wasn't there a fair amount of election fraud (a lot of which was sponsored by the Koch brothers)?
It just seems kind of silly to tell people to give up if they were cheated out of their election.

I'd like to have whatever you're on now, you can't get anymore delusional than that statement. I've met paranoid schizophrenics with a greater grasp on politics than you. Any moron can pretend they have a crystal ball into the future and see the results of an election a year and 1/2 in the future but he would be a fool for doing so. But I can look into that crystal ball right now and tell you what I see. I see 8 Rethuglicant politicians , each one more hateful, more vicious, more mendacious, more inhumane, more oppotunistic , more calculating and downright vile than the other one. 8 candidates without one shred of human decency. All perfect representatives of a political party that has lost all contact with anything even remotely resembling compassion for anthing or anyone. I see 8 morally bankrupt politicians who would kill their own mothers for a two point bump in the polls.I see 8 politicians who would eat their young for the priveledge of allowing corporations to defile everything good and honest about our society. I see 8 politicans who would take us back a hundred years to destroy every once of social progress this country has ever known. I see EVIL, PURE , UNADULTERATED EVIL !
BTW. do you really think I would play a video of one of the worst songs ever recorded from one of the worst, most meaningless musicals ever written. Pure tripe ! Try another musical for songs about tomorrow-a brilliantly written and performed musical called " Cabaret ", a song called , " Tomorrow Belongs to Me." Why that song ? Because tomorrow does ! - 9 months ago

Only in the minds of liberals. Its their out whenever they lose a close race. If Democrats would go along with voter IDs much of voter fraud would be eliminated. Unfortunately for Democrats it would eliminate the way they commit voter fraud.
In the Wisconsin recall elections the Democrats rounded up unregistered voters, gave them a free meal, presents, then bussed them over to the polls to help them register and vote absentee before the election day. When the Republicans filmed the event the Democrats cried harassment.

"Only in the minds of liberals. Its their out whenever they lose a close race."
Only in the minds of liberals, riiiiiiiiiiight.
That's why the Koch brothers sent out information to liberal neighborhoods telling them that the absentee ballots needed to be filled out and turned in days after the election was over. Though they claimed it was a typo, I'm pretty sure Colbert said it best when he pointed out how much sense a typo makes because the 9 on a keyboard (because the last day to get the ballots in was the 9th) is so close to the 1 on a keyboard (because the "informative" pamphlets sent out by the Koch brothers said the last day was the 11th). It was also a typo that the pamphlets told people to mail in their absentee ballots to an address with nothing there instead of the county clerks office where the votes were supposed to go.
"If Democrats would go along with voter IDs much of voter fraud would be eliminated."
I did not mention voter fraud, I mentioned election fraud. False information was spread to liberal districts. What good would a damn voter ID do if people who had the voter ID cast their vote at a date after the election because of a pamphlet that they received telling them that they had more time to vote than there actually was?
"Unfortunately for Democrats it would eliminate the way they commit voter fraud."
That door swings both ways, and no, voter ID does not prevent voter fraud. It only prevents people who do not have the ID to vote from voting. Yes, it works by preventing people who are not registered to vote from voting. Unfortunately, it also works as a poll tax when DMV workers are told not to inform people that they can get a voter ID for free instead of paying the fee to get one, which amounts to a poll tax.
"In the Wisconsin recall elections the Democrats rounded up unregistered voters, gave them a free meal, presents, then bussed them over to the polls to help them register and vote absentee before the election day. When the Republicans filmed the event the Democrats cried harassment."

When asked in a Wisconsin Freedom of Information Council interview in December 2010 about how Walker would want more open government and transparency, he replied:
Q: “Will you pledge right now to run the most open, transparent gubernatorial administration in the history of the universe?”
A: Gov.-elect Scott Walker’s one-word reply: “Absolutely.”Clearly, Walker was lying through his teeth. There has been nothing more secretive than the Walker administration so far with constitutional violations that will be part of his short-lived gubernatorial career legacy after being recalled.
