Rick Perry is not upset over the Supreme Court stepping in to delay his state’s latest execution.
Speaking at a Coca-Cola bottling plant in Iowa Friday evening, the Texas governor felt the Supreme Court was taking “the appropriate path” in issuing an emergency stay on the execution of Duane Buck.
“They are taking the appropriate path in my opinion and justice will be served at some point in the future,” Perry said. “We have a clear appeals process that is followed in every case. Whether or not you agree with the appeal or not is your call.”
Perry allowed the decision to execute Buck proceed despite a controversial testimony from
a psychologist. That person stated that Buck would be more likely to commit future violence if allowed to live because of his skin color.

If I had to guess I would bet that Gov. Perry does not want an innocent person to die so he hopes that justice is served. Gov. Perry just does not want to be troubled with doing the right thing. He just wants others to do it.
Gov. Perry undoubtedly puts politics over life. This is not the type of person I want to run our country.

These Tea Baggers have completely changed the rules. The fringe candidates are electable in GOP primaries. We will certainly find out soon enough.

Agreed. My theory is that the GOP actually wants to throw this election the way they did in '08. They know that Bush screwed the economy so bad that it will not recover for quite some time and they want the Dem's. to take all the blame so they can win in '16. If the GOP really wanted to win Chris Christie would be in the race. He is no better than the rest of them but he is electable.

I am not so sure the hard core Republicans can figure anything out. Even the most simple concepts seem to confuse them. Things like an economy is money that keeps moving from person to person and if the working class has no money to spend and wealthy people refuse to spend theirs the only group left to start the movement of money is the government. They do not understand that giving wealthy people tax cuts will not make them say woohoo now I can hire more people to sit around and wait until we have more business so they will have something to do. Increased orders for a business drives hiring not tax breaks. If the government spends money then people have money. When people have money they spend it which increases orders for America's businesses which means the "job creators" can do their jobs and hire more Americans. This is a simple a concept as I know and the Republicans do not understand it.

"Rick Perry is not upset over the Supreme Court stepping in to delay his state’s latest execution." Usually, he has to think about baseball or something to lower the threshold of excitement.

In public he is okay. In private, he is stroking his Snidley Whiplash mustache and lamenting "my racist plan to kill has been foiled again!"
