    • "We relish news of our heroes, forgetting that we are extraordinary to somebody too." - Helen Hayes

Truth be told, just about everybody does extraordinary things, has vital impact, really matters to someone else and they might never even notice. When someone makes an impact, when someone matters, let them know. Your acknowledgement might be the saving grace that keeps the other person going. And you will start noticing how many other great people, walking around without superhero masks and capes, there are in you world. Just realizing they are there will make you stronger. Realizing you may be a hero to someone and not know it will make you braver.

Thanking someone will make you happier.

I need to be a little happier today, so, thank you, KB. You are, by your honesty, kind attentiveness, and wide interests, a hero to me.

So many here are. And I hope I remember to thank each of you from time to time. You matter. Damn, you matter so much more than you will ever know.

    • Sometimes we need to take a moment to reassess priorities in how we manage our time, effort and tasks we wish to accomplish with those three elements that are a part of our lives.

Recharging our batteries and refocusing is required from time to time.

Hell, there are times when we need to take a vacation FROM vacationing!

Variety is the spice of life. One can grow weary from eating just salt or sugar alone.

Pepper may be needed in your "diet"!

      LOL

Or some salsa.......parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme.....too!

I think I lean towards bailey's suggestion, too....have a brewski and enjoy a break from the insanity of all this mess. (like in the picture above....step out of the rat race fo a minute)

Because, I assure you....it will ALL be here when you return! Sometimes I feel as if I'm spinning my wheels here, too! Especially when the same ol' same ol' troglodite trolls don't let up with their incessant yammering about this or that.

I'll just have to cross all that I can hoping for your expedient journey back!

No Worries, but really... Trying to balance comments, articles, a girlfriend and doing art layout at the same time does get tiring... Now it is time for bed, Good Night and Best Wishes Bill... =)

    • I'd like to say "it's always darkest before the dawn" or isn't it about "getting busy living or get busy dying"? What do you love and how can we ensure that you and those that follow will get a chance to love it too?

Ya got me on the last sentence... I Love ridding my Bike, and I guess all we can do so those that follow can also enjoy, is to be sure we do not let the GOP do away with the EPA, or the FDA...

Will Do, Thanks bailey78... I ride my bike as often as I am able and I see folks just living their lives, like anyone else... I sometimes think that we do get a bit carried away and never stop to smell the Roses from time to time... =)

Gee kb. You took me by surprise. I know what you mean. When I was as young as you, I rarely sit behind a computer. I enjoyed life. Then time moved on and here I sit. I'll be looking for your return, even if you just pop in. Take care.

I was just feeling lost and tired... I will still hang around, I am sorry if I misled, I was just thinking about all the good things in life and the many others I see in passing just living their lives as well... I don't really talk about politics with family or friends, so often times it is ok to hang out here and talk about them... I guess I was just mentioning balance in life and all it has to offer as well as those we share it with... I am off to bed, have a fantastic evening and a wonderful tomorrow... =)

You know, it sounded like KB was taking a break to me, too, but he says he was just having a "moment".......just wait until he enters into what us dudes call "menopause".....(snort, chuckle).

And my wife thought her "change of life" was bad!

      Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....hooooooooooooooowl...rrrruff, ruff!

      LMAO!

I'm sure glad you will still be hanging around. It's good not to talk politics with family and friends. I try not to do that, but sometimes I just can't keep my mouth shut and get in a battle. That's not good. I need to realize not everyone thinks like I do.
