Apparently the US is Israel's to command. And people somewhere want a long war to Palestinian oblivion . I am guessing those people do not live in Palestine . Perhaps they want to . Perhaps they just want the resources . Good luck Palestine . It probably was not personal , it was most likely , about profit . You know , we could all be treated like that someday . The Native Americans come to mind .

I got a solution, move the state of Israel to America...
And by the way , society is screwed by design not by mistake.

Obama has been on the wrong side of the Israel-Palestine issue the day he appointed Rahm Emanuel and all of the other Israeli firsters to his staff.
He couldn't even answer one question from students regarding Israel's (and Egypt's) human rights abuses against Palestinians.

The Israel-Palestine controversy is a joke.
Just stop the $30 billion in free money and weapons to Israel, and 90% of the problems will be solved. End of story.

I remember the asassination of Rabin too.
We've got a mad dog running wild in the neighborhood with no easy solutions as regular citizens on how to deal with it.
Putting pressure on the US government to stop the $30 billion along with the BDS movement are all we can do at this point.
I think it can and ultimately will happen.

I think we will always support Israel in this manner because of the envangelical support that they have.

I hope Cenk doesn't change the flavor of the station. So far it is balanced. Personally, I have to admit I stopped watching him. I hope he's more mature in his opinions.

Five Presidents have tried to help solve this situation and only Carter had some success. Our policy of support has not changed. He simply believes that there is still a lot to be agreed upon before there is a final decision on statehood. Our policies haven't changed, but there has to be compromise and balance.

Maybe they need someone who can look around and see the precarious position they are in and realizes there has to be some compromise for their sake and the sake of their biggest ally. I'm sure the Israeli people can decide for themselves what is in their best interests, as I hope people in the United States can as well.

I would like to see a serious change in US policy towards the Palestinians, but the reality is that even if unemployment dropped to 2% by next November and we had a balanced budget, the Israeli lobby is so strong that he would lose. Our policy on the Palestinians is _much_ bigger than any party.

I think he walked a delicate tightrope extraordinarily well. As long as Hamas attacks Israel there will be no peace. Like the President said. If that were the case, it would have already happened.
