During a rally at Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said that Americans were engaged in one of the greatest political struggles the country had ever faced.
“On one side, we have the wealthiest people in America who have never ever had it so good,” he said. “On the other side, what we are seeing is 16 percent of our people unemployed, and 46 million Americans who are living in poverty and that number is growing every single day.”
“So the issue we have to determine right now is whether that capitol, that government,” Sanders continued, pointing towards Washington, D.C., “is there to represent all of the people, and not just the wealthiest and most powerful.”
The senator added the U.S. should have a single-payer health care system.

America needs to hear this speech. Bernie is attempting to turn the mentality of Americans from a my four no more attitude to an all for one and one for all. What we need now is leadership that directs us in how to change this situation. Voting doesn't work because the machines are programmed against change. We need a nationwide work stoppage with mass amounts of people blocking freeway entrances and businesses forcing the elite in this country to pay attention to us. We can hold America hostage as well, why not try it.

In a nation filled with greedy, self serving political bastards, Bernie stands out like an oasis in a desert. Bernie is truly a man of the people and is deserving of the acolades thrown at the feet of reactionary idiots like Ron Paul. He is wasn't so desperately needed in the Senate, I would urge that he be given a prominent role in the next administration, but without him the Senate would be a vast wasteland.

Just think folks what we could get done if our democrat senators and reps.in washington would go out and do what Bernie is doing he even came to wisconsin last week and was on cable news with John Nichols and gave a speech at the fighting Bob Lafollette days.It would have been great to have seen them backed up by our Wi. democrat congress men and women and some from other states they have to start under standing politics are not just local any more the people in any state is more likely to see their congress man on the cable news media than on their local news.

Tried to take my kids to their doctor today because they are all running a fever. Had to leave since their medicare was changed to an HMO their doctor nor any other locally will accept. Can't get them in anywhere...feeling rather abandoned by "our" systems. Healthcare is a right and should not be withheld from anyone.
