Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's (R) spokesman, plus two supporters, have now been granted immunity in the ongoing campaign finance investigation of former aides to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R), from Walker's time as Milwaukee County Executive.
WisPolitics reports:
The spokesman, Cullen Werwie, also served as deputy communications director for Walker's gubernatorial campaign.
Rose Ann Dieck, a retired teacher and Milwaukee County Republican party activist, and Kenneth Lucht, a lobbyist for the Wisconsin & Southern Railroad, have also been granted immunity in matters "still under inquiry" through the secret probe, according to the judge overseeing the case.
The judge stressed that a grant of immunity "does not necessarily mean, imply or infer that those witnesses are suspected of, or guilty of, any criminal wrongdoing."

This is a good thing. Once immunity is granted people tend to open up and tell all. This is going to be interesting.

the implication of implying is not the implication perceived so much as the implied of implicating without saying such because that would imply something

The nets have been cast. How far and wide only the fishermen know. I hope they they catch something. With luck maybe a big one or two or three or more.

And here we have the rats jumping the sinking ship scenario. The Feds are famous for playing lets make a deal to land the bigger fish. We can always hope pray and dream that they catch Walker the Koch bros and anyone else in their net. Would be nice.

I have little hope that the Feds will land Walker or the Koch's, we don't have a just justice system in this country. It is all a mirage, just like the fairy money created on Wallstreet.

As the saying goes, there is rarely honor among thieves and granting immunity to one of the principals of this team of white-collar, Koch-funded criminals goes to show that. With the Koch-fiends ready to scrape off any shit that might stick to Walker with their bottomless financial resources, it's unlikely Walker will do the proverbial perp walk, but it will be just another taint on his already murky legacy here in the state of WI. Will the growing tide of right wing fanatics in my state wake up at some point, probably not since they consider this business as usual and what is required to beat back the liberal hordes. It's not a crime if they do it. That's how they see it anyway.

Many have already left Walker's camp which is a very good sign, but there are the hard core fanatics that can't get enough of what Walker spouts. The right wing in WI is a part of the same microcosm of what represents the rabid right wing across this country. 2012 will be a referendum on the soul of WI voters. Hopefully decency triumphs over the alternative.

That would suggest that this spokesman has some damaging information about their campaign ethics violations. But yet, it doesn't mean he's going to throw Walker under the bus. It could be just that he's going to serve up Cynthia Archer. But I wish he would take Walker down with her. Hopefully, Walker will be caught up in the collateral damage. But, sadly, no guarantees. The Koch money will flow freely to protect Walker's ass.
