Biden: GOP Crowd Members Booing Gay Soldier Was 'Reprehensible'

Back when Michael Steele was RNC chairman he called the GOP the party of the big tent the party of inclusion not exclusion. There is no big tent or inclusion. To be GOP/Tea Bagger one must be: pro life, pro gun, anti gay, cut taxes on the rich, anti union, antk public schools, anti environment. They wrap themselves in the Bible and the Flag.

Joe Biden has done a great job and I can fully understand why he did not comment further on the subject. He tends to tell the truth and some people cannot deal with the truth. He didn't want to put his foot in his mouth again and take the focus off the subject at hand.

Time for Biden to turn in his man card.

Sorry for my rhetoric since I suffer from Republicophobia as well as Tea Baggerophobia. ALL JOKING ASIDE: PLEASE KEEP REPUBLICANS OUT OF OFFICE! PLEASE EXPELL THE SO-CALLED BLUE DOG DEMOCRAT FROM THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. Now back to regular letters: The Democratic party has to stand for something different from the Republican party. Blue-doggers try to blur the ideologies and turn them into mush, all benefitting the right wing. Therefore, the true progressive Democrats have to push back and not be afraid to call themselves LIBERAL AND PROGRESSIVE. The right, especially in the past 40 years, have been trying to make a dirty word out of the word "liberal." Well it has worked because even the most liberal would rather call themselves "progressive" then "liberal." We need some Democrats out there to embrace their true liberal selves and be proud to proclaim it because to be liberal is to be generous and tolarant. To be conservative is to be greedy and intolarant.

Good for him for speaking up on national TV. I wish he'd gone further but just by calling it "reprehensible" must have ruffled a few feathers - I found it shocking that none of the 'thuglican "potentials" had the balls to say "stop this nonsense" when part of the crowd acted up. Shame on them. Showed just a small sliver of what would come with a 'thuglican victory. I expected as much from Santorum and Bachmann but I honestly thought that at least Hunstman and Romney had more sense than that. I was very sadley mistaken.
Shame shame shame on them. And good for Joe Biden for talking "sense."

Bullets don't care what's your sexual preference, everyone who goes in harms way whether they believe in it or not should have the support of their country. Those people who booed need to look around them and realize that they are not in a bubble, they cannot hide to much longer because reality is knocking at their door.

They booed their own family member.

The folks who booed the soldier betrayed their shallow character.

There is a clear choice in whom to vote for: Do we want a party that cheers the death penalty, hopes those without healthcare die, and boo gay soldiers to win or do we want a party that mostly supports (or so it says) true American values that do not include hate and religious ignorance to win. I know this much, we are at war here in this country against a growing fascist movement on the verge of taking the white house and the entire country. We must encourage all to get to the polls and vote or else lose the America we know.

In polite conversation, reprehensible was the right response. I would have made note of the fact that none of the RIPublican candidates stood up for a soldier, especially since none of them ever put a uniform on.

"Reprehensible" was waaaaay too nice a word, IMHO.
