12 Signs That Americans Who Love Liberty And Freedom Should Watch Their Backs

Image
Revelation1217
Do you love liberty and freedom? If so, you better watch your back. The control freaks that run our society are stripping away our liberties and freedoms a little bit more each day, and lately they seem to be particularly focused on coming after those that are not "integrating" into the system. Just like the rest of the western world, America is being transformed into a "Big Brother" police state control grid. Nearly everything that you do is being watched and monitored. A whole host of organizations know that you are on this website right now. If you want to go to an NFL game next weekend, there is a good chance that you will be on the receiving end of an "enhanced pat-down" and if you are producing raw milk on your farm there is a good chance that the feds will show up for a pre-dawn raid on your property. In many areas of the country, the government forces us to shoot our kids full of vaccines and implant dangerous microchips in our pets. Virtually wherever we go there is a camera that is watching us or there are other Americans that are evaluating whether or not we are engaged in "suspicious activity" that needs to be reported to the government. Once upon a time, America was all about liberty and freedom, but today our nation is undergoing a radical cultural shift. America is being "locked down", and those who love liberty and freedom should watch their backs.

    • I do have a some questions regarding a few of these signs...

Regarding "#1 A 55-year-old man in Arizona was recently ordered to turn in all his guns because of things that he wrote on his blog. Fortunately, after WorldNetDaily covered the story there was an outpouring of outrage and the order was overturned, but what would have happened if WorldNetDaily had not covered the story?"

What did the guy write on his blog? Though I severely doubt he wrote anything along the lines of, "I'm going to shoot everyone in the state capitol building and then I'm going to shoot up a bus full of elderly people!" there are things he could have written that could have outed him as a severe danger to the public. I do not know if he wrote anything that strongly indicated such things, and if he did not then I do not think he should have had his firearms taken from him, but if he did out himself as a serious potential then I do not really have much sympathy for the guy. Either way, I need to know more about what he posted on his blog before his story can really be considered a sign for freedom loving United States citizens to watch their backs...

Regarding "#3 According to blogger Alexander Higgins, students in kindergarten and the 1st grade in the state of New Jersey are now required by law to participate "in monthly anti-terrorism drills". The following is an excerpt from a letter that he recently received from the school where his child attends....

Each month a school must conduct one fire drill and one security drill which may be a lockdown, bomb threat, evacuation, active shooter, or shelter-in place drill. All schools are now required by law to implement this procedure.

So who in the world ever decided that it would be a good idea for 1st grade students to endure "lockdown" and "active shooter" drills?"

I don't really know how this a sign that freedom loving U.S. citizens should watch their backs... I can see how it is incredibly stupid, wasteful in regards of resources, will undermine the actual education of kids, and will put them through unnecessary stress, but it also seems like something that was probably put into motion because a few paranoid and overly protective parents harassed their state government into doing it.

I'm a bit tired right now, so I ask for forgiveness if I am forgetting something that should be very obvious to me, but when was the last time that New Jersey fell victim to either a terrorist act or a school shooting?

Regarding "#6 The freedom to raise our pets as we want to is also being greatly curtailed in many areas of the country. For example, a new law in St. Louis would require nearly all dogs and cats to be sterilized and microchipped....

Board Bill 107 would require all pet owners to spay or neuter their dogs and cats and microchip them for identification. Those who don't want to sterilize their pets would be assessed a fee of $200 per year.

Will the control freaks that run things want to start sterilizing and microchipping humans someday?"

Yeah, I'm not really against this considering the number of people who don't actually spay or neuter their pets and end up with litters of pups or kittens that end up having to be put down in an animal shelter because there are more animals than people can adopt or end up having to release those animals into the relative wilderness to live or die as strays. The microchipping also seems like a good idea considering how many people abandon their animals, which is an act of cruelty and can land people a hefty fine if they are caught. Microchipping also helps families find their pets if their pets become lost and lose their collars along with any identification.

"#8 As I wrote about recently, many NFL teams are now performing "enhanced pat-downs" of fans before they enter the stadiums. In Green Bay, the Packers are using hand-held metal detectors on fans before they are allowed to enter Lambeau field.

What is next? Will they soon insist that we all undergo full body cavity searches before we are permitted to attend the games?"

Gee... why might they do that? It wouldn't have to do with the fact that there are nutjobs who actually bring things like guns and knives to sports stadiums would it? I've seen people beat the fuck out of one another at sporting events, without weapons or alcohol, because one guy celebrated a bit too much when his team scored and it pissed the other guy off. As far as cavity searches go, not very realistic unless a rectal gun storage device is ever invented and sold, then you'll have to worry.

"#10 Many of our public schools are now being run like prisons. In fact, in many areas of the country, little kids are being publicly arrested by police in their own classrooms and are being marched out of their schools in handcuffs."

This is too broad a claim and the link that was provided did not really give much to support the idea that many areas of the country are arresting and handcuffing the kids. There are 4 listed incidents that fit the arresting and handcuffing kids description or are worse and those 4 incidents are strictly the schools and local police.

David, I could not agree with your analysis more, except for the conclusion. It would be nice if we were the "reasonable" people you envision, then we would probably not have the problem of the greedy trying their best to screw US all. We need demonstrations to alert the nation of an issue that people feel strongly enough about to stand up and say "basta ya!". We need those people to bring that issue to the attention of the "great unwashed" who are too busy trying to make a living to sit and contemplate. In other words, it takes US all working together to change course, oh my Captain! ;-)
We work together best, when we know what and why and demonstrations (and dems) give US reasons and science to know why and not just "hat all others" that seems to be the only theme song the right now knows!

Sorry David, you last me after your first sentence. I'm NOT looking for perfection or I would be a "I hear voices" person. I believe each generation gets a chance to move the ball a little closer to the goal of human freedom and equality where we have advanced science enough to supply all our needs and we have decided that "right to life" means a right to have enough in material goods and to have a government that actually looks out for your health (FDA) rather than allows their greed to defund government agencies because they are "too legalistic". I'm sorry, but without my health, all the money in the world does not gets me to "rise from the dust"! I say vote dem NOW and through 2012. If it doesn't work, we get Hillary! ;-) Bottom line, I see which side my bread is buttered on and I will do all I can to see they get a chance to do the best they can for US! peas

David, Damn you! I just said I would never ever never mostly hardly well possibly maybe respond to your posts again and then you say something interesting and I am sucked in! I'm a blabbermouth who loves to rant and you are a potential looney who believes the whole world is talking about him. What could possibly go wrong??? Damn you David, you pushed my jelly button and I must write! ;-) I think the whole "occupy wall st." has to be scary to the folks with the gilt because they know in their shriveled gum drop size "compassion" area of their shriveled hearts that, like Ghadaffy, there is no where to hide if you are labelled as someone who helped "screw the world"! as these greedy banks and wall st'ers are close to doing.

David, ain't no doubt these be strange times and it's hard to tell "the good guys vs the bad guys". As an "old fart" I grew up trusting my BofA because I liked the manager when he greeted me as I opened my account (San Jose - do you know the way? ;-). I liked my local cop because he walked a beat and didn't "drive by" law enforce, but got to know and advise US. The banks and Wall St have abused our trust (which is the cruelest cut of all) and they have tried to devalue our country in an attempt to make even more money. Like Midas, they will not be happy even if they are turned to solid gold! Of course by then the planet will be poisoned and dead, but hey the gold is still shiny, shiny, shiny! Kinda a stoopid epithet for a people who evolved brains, but could never quite get the hang of using our heads for more than places to put glasses or wear a hat! ;-)

I'm a "certified old fogey" but I hope that is not the same as "not with it"!;-) We live today as a result of the decisions we made yesterday. What can we do today to make tomorrow better for all of US and not just the rich? At the risk of disagreeing with you (yet again) I do believe in the democratic process and while I have seen US make our share of mistakes, I've traveled this old world some and I'd rather be here than there! ;-)
Can you honestly say to me that we (as a nation) were not better off under the dems? They are harder to organize (like herding cats) but I'll take their "heart" and love of humanity "in general" vs the repuglicans "well, if they are going to die, they had better get at it and relieve the surplus population!" ;-)
      Which shall I vote 4???

Sorry, you are older than me! "Old fogey" has always been a term of derision, where ever I have traveled. Sorta like NOW! ;-) You turn 65 and they retire you and never want to see you (or pay you) again! We've spent a life time sending you to training and we keep your internet on so you can find the answers. We pay the big bucks for your brain and then we don't! What would it cost to give every retiree a tab and apps and training so they could use some of their acquired knowledge to continue to help? And if we have "help apps" we can pay for their help and thus give a small SS bonus. But I massively digress (as usual) from my response to your "no democracy" with what the heck you think we're doing in the streets of NY and the nation? If you tried that in China you would be arrested and shot. If sleeping in a park is your idea of lazy youth, get out and march! (plus maybe pick up a girl, I hear hippies are loose! ;-)(OK, that last part is too far, but it is sorta funny, que no? ;-).

It was a "joke" so no PC "wanted". I'm sorry you feel the Chinese government is better to its people, but I still prefer living in the "good ole USA" ;-). China is destroying herself for greed and profit in much the same way we will if the GOpGraspers get back in. Here, they are already trying to defund the FDA, EPA and anybody else who has the slightest interest in protecting our health and assets, Listeria and Salmonella be damned (they have food tasters, so no worries, mate ;-)!

I too enjoyed the convo, except when you seemed to go off the sky pilot end. So, let me get this clear, "better job of improving conditions for the people" that was not meant to say the Chinese government was being better to its people? Then who the hell made the "better conditions"??? The horror to me is when I realize I have only one life to live and I have to live it according to scrolls written thousands of years ago and of which I do not believe in! I'm a non-theist and believe in NO GOD!, yet I must pay taxes for people who have "exemptions" from tax for donating to these places which train people that it is OK to impose your will on others if you call it religion!

and not to mention it is a easier to raise their standard of living when they only pay the employees $3.00 dollars an hour, and the government controls the money supply (but in wierd way I don't know if that is bad thing or a good thng)

Jack, well, the way I see it, the gov may not be easy to control, but it is 'OUR' government. We elect and we re-elect or we hire someone new. If you don't think it makes a diff, look at the tea baggers who control the House. Now there is a small group that 'we, the people' elected and they have made changes (none of which I am happy with! ;-). Elections do matter and 'showing up' is more than half the battle. We saw how repugs took over the house and for all practical purposes the senate. Is this what we want for the next four? I don't! I like the government best which protects my health and safety but keeps it frigging nose out of my personal business (who and what sex I have, whether my wife, our Dr. and myself decide to have an abortion, whether I believe in fairy tales or old wives tales or not is nobody's business but my own!) Who believes in individual freedom while working for the good of the people? That is my candidate!

David, I may well be 'nuts' as some have intimated (or said worse! ;-), I see a connection, like ALEC. Religion and religious fighting divides US; non-existent 'race' (we are ALL chimp descendants so any talk of 'race' smacks of Nazi talk of 'racial differences' to me, but being a non-Aryan probably helps! ;-); male v female. It's sorta like "you & him fight" and I will watch and reap the profits. Imagine for a moment, if we had no war, no hate? If we all worked together to solve the problems of the earth and used our tech to make sure every being has a chance at clean water, clean air, food, health care? What if these were our 'goals' and not "how do we kill all non-believers -insert religion of cherce here! ;-) Is it a 'sin' to want a heaven here on earth before I become dust?

I wont' go to deep into this, and I agree with everything else you wrote.

Certainly "we the people" elected Bush, or so they would have us believe. But please don't think that "we the people" elected teabaggers, that was the people of their district. And the detrimental affect the teabaggers have on democracy for their pity views is undeniable. However, there is a very good argument that can be summarized with how you stated it;, and that is all politics at any level has far reaching national implications.

I don't want to go to 'deep' into this either, but for me it is as the Prez says "WE". Sure we may think states like Georgia where they pass laws just so they can cheat the ignorant who go there to work. Is that US? I don't think so, but Ga. is still part of this union and I'm going to do what I can to convince them that greed and cheating others "is not nice" and it is this disregard of fellow human rights that got US here and now! ;-)

Do you think it is time to eliminate the concept of the individual States entirely?

no, that is not true at all, in fact I may be the only one that approaches the problem of regulatory agencies as an extension of the people's power that runs directly through the president.

And I have clearly argued why that is the case.

However, states are fine, and it is more efficient government than one voice on every issue. And in fact as has already been stated, States work in cooperation with the federal government.
Reign in police agencies, strengthen public commons agencies.

Why do I bother to write you when you don't read my replies? The issue is "everybody pays a fair share" and the repugnants have been gushing over the god, reagan, and they have it as an article of faith that the rich (the job crappers) can't be taxed or they will be scared by the big bad uncertainty and they won't spend. Well, when the god Reagan says it, it's a little harder to ignore? Que no? Do I have to send you a TV or do you prefer to watch it on your smart phone or tab? ;-)

Well, I happy to stop, but I thought we were trying to have a conversation and I thought I was sharing some information with you. Reagan is being touted as the once upon savior "of the nation" and how if we did everything he said we would all live happily ever after. Well, then why is it not news if he actually said that taxes should be fair and all (especially the rich) should share in maintaining this country. Interested or not, he was a President of the US and he is held in supposedly high esteem, although alter this vid, his fame may fade as fast as Bachmann's. Paranoia is OK, just don't act on it! ;-) I don't know who you are and am not directing my 'rants' especially at you, just happens you say stuff I think has another side to it and I just want to 'share' ;-)

Raygun has been promoted as the "sane" man who "fixed" the country and was a "solid" repugnant. The problem is, that he wasn't. That means, you (people who are using Reagan's popularity to push their issues) can't look at this video and not wonder, perhaps, is this true? And if so, does it mean that President Obama was saying damn near the same thing? If so why do repugnants hate what the Prez says? Could it be they were just 'using' Raygun's name to gain the advantage as they repeatedly have done with religion?

    • This is especially true in New York City, where Police Commissioner Ray “Police State” Kelly brags about his ramped-up Homeland Security apparatus, controlled by him. He can shoot planes down, or track any individual on the street from his control room, through the camera network. He makes it plain that there are things that you see, and things that you don’t. At yesterday’s march to One Police Plaza there was a cop in the Tactical Squad with a video camera, pointed right at the marching demonstrators. I am sure that was just for the fear factor, as they don’t have to put cops on the street to accomplish that goal. But, the demonstrators had cameras too, pointed right back at him.

Why can't we use social media to build our "government of the sky" and use it as a organizing tool as well as a means to get around the "party of no" or to get pressure on them from actual voters? Why do we stay in the dark when we have the tech people and the tools to create a communication tool and then an organizing tool that we can perfect and then give to our brothers/sisters who are having the same or worse conditions to struggle against. If the working class of the world stand together to demand fairness, who knows what we can do!

We did get CHANGE with GOP action... not passing one bill. We did get change when the people voted the GOP in the house. We got change when Wisconsin voted Scott Walker in, you are absolutely right we got change alright. By the way, in 2008 we got change with Obama, took the Senate and increased in the House. In 2010 nobody felt like voting and we got Walker and Boner running things. So the moral of the story is " Either vote or don't complain about what you end up with" or to keep it simple, you don't vote, don't bi**h.
