Oh, this class warfare! Mitt Romney said the Occupy Wall Street protests are dangerous. I hope he's right. I hope the millions of out-of-work, foreclosed-on homeowners, disgruntled union workers, and every other pissed off American hits the streets yelling and screaming. It's about goddamned time this country sees real political fireworks. What I think is dangerous is the milquetoast Romney in his pretty suit, walking around parroting old lines about finance and wealth, war and Wall Street. He's a boring playboy piece-of-shit who's too afraid to be all the way Conservative or Liberal, so he toes the worst line of all: the inconsequential 'I'm-too-afraid-to-make-a-real-statement' middle line.

" Nothing in this world is as powerful (dangerous) than an idea
whose time has come " Romney is a patsy, and has no hope
of being elected. Biden's mislabeling the Wall St protesters as
the same as the T.E.A. party shows how corrupt & foolish the
present status quo admin traitors are, and why they should be
voted out in Nov.2012. They ARE Wall st. - 1 year ago

Agreed. Obama's been good to Wall Street, and Goldman Sachs in particular. And they've been good to him.

Did you make the same claim of the actions of Tea Party Movements?

I didn't support the Tea Party movement because as it evolved, I kept hearing them say Wall Street should be deregulated and unions busted. I don't agree with those ideas. I don't think deregulating the market is the way to prosperity when we have corporations as people. So no, I was very much against those Tea Party claims, but I was against the banker bail out.

I am actually glad to see the naked greed and lack of care for the working class of this country has been laid bare! We've had Elmer Gantry religion and our hate of the 'other' used to make US pliant as our pockets have been picked clean and now they want our shoes and pants in the middle of winter! I say Bast Ya! We the people own this country and the fact that corporations have been able to hire enough lawyers to twist our democracy into a plutacracy is not going to stop US. United we stand, divided we fall and this unspeakable greed and lack of humanity will not be long tolerated now that we have begun to find our collective voice!

I thank u & hope we proceed with the knowledge that we have all been cheated and we must be united in our oppoition! Cops are under paid and their pensions robbed. What if cops refused to act to suppress legitimate grievances? What if the nation stayed home 4 a day? How much atten would b paid? We are one in opposition to tyranny and oppression. If the 1% don't think they need US. let's let them try to run the country 4 a day!

Dangerous is an understatement. Formidable is more like it. As long as we can sustain it! It's only dangerous for the GOPpers and TPartyers who don't like the competition. Finally, liberals, indies, centrists and just plain old malcontents and undecideds are getting their act together and taking it to the streets. YES WE CAN! Would love to see Obama march with one of these groups. (armed with heavy SS of course) Now that would be awesome!

I agree, finally the Left in this country seem to really be getting behind this movement. As for Obama, I think we should be clear about who funds his campaign and his move to the White House. He is backed by Goldman Sachs and other major banks and Wall Street entities. I consider him just as much of the problem as the GOP.

True, True, but that's another reason
I'm backing Dylan Ratigan's #getthemoneyout! No more contributions to these politicians (or very small limits) and major enforcement which can mean more jobs! Just too much corruption everywhere! Way past time to stop this crazy-ness these politicians have been getting away with for decades, we need an economic Elliott Ness et al! - 1 year ago

You want danger? I'll give you danger:
The GOP and Tea Bags shutting down our government, the Patriot Act, Keystone Pipeline, big oil, oil spills, poisoned food supplies, government corruption, rich politicians, assassination of US citizens, polluted water supplies, Global Warming, ignorance, false wars, torture, treason, restricting voter rights, corrupt banks, execution of the innocent and failure to act.
These things are dangerous. These things I mention are what the "other side" is for. This is real danger.
The danger for you Mitt [who in the hell calls their kid Mitt anyway?!] is the wake up and action of the American people. Tearing down the bullshit you have built over the past 30 years is not danger.
It is America taking her country back. It is America standing up against YOUR corruption. It is the notion that one day you and your kind will have to come face to face with those that you kept at your collective feet like a beaten dog.
This dog has teeth, this dog bites, and this dog is going to be your worst enemy and biggest nightmare. THIS IS CLASS WARFARE! WE ARE COMING FOR YOUR AND YOUR KIND. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Romney and most of the Washington crowd are so out of touch with the world around them that there may be no other option than to remove them all and start over...they are talking the talk that their parents and grandparents talked and walking the walk of early 20th century corporate crooks who will not stop short of revolution in the streets...after today's events at protests around the country it is apparent that the Cops and the Corps are getting pretty nervous...hang on solidarity is growing.

Dangerous ? I can only hope it gets too dangerous for the likes of that elite ignorant pigs to be out in public! For some this has been a life long struggle without any sign of winning...maybe , just maybe something different is in this mix...the age of information and the ability to actually get honest information may be what makes the difference. There should be no demands because the whole freaking system is rotten to the core,,,nothing is won unless everything changes.
Peaceful or violent...either way the criminals need to be prosecuted..all of them from the leaders to the lackeys...Left unpunished these crimes will never stop. - 1 year ago

I hope Romney is right, too! I want Occupy Wall Street to be dangerous to rich assholes like him. He claims to be middle class....what a joke!

Countdown with Keith Olbermann:
Sen. Bernie Sanders takes issue with Mitt Romney's definition of class warfare, saying, "Class warfare is being waged in America today - the problem is, the wrong side is winning." Sanders continues, "In America now you have the most unequal distribution of income and wealth of any major country on Earth, with the top 400 wealthiest people owning more wealth than the bottom 150 million Americans."
