    • I figure Columbus missed his mark by half a world. Loser. He didn't discover anything. The indigenous people knew the continents were here all along. At least when the Norsemen came, they were more polite.

      Around our house, today is known as "There Goes the Neighborhood Day". It is a joke that shows some solidarity with the dry humor of the local Native people, and a stick in the eye of my RW neighbors who all have a pretty weird view of history starting only when some diseased white guys showed up.
