The one sticking point of the resolution, which was introduced by Councilmen Richard Alarcon and Bill Rosendahl, was its connection to the Responsible Banking Ordinance that has languished in committee for more than a year. Ultimately, the council reached a compromise to hear the banking issue in the Budget and Finance Committee on or before Nov. 21, with the item going to the full council for a discussion — but not a vote — that same week.
Members of Occupy LA addressed the council for more than an hour and a half before the vote. Though speakers were a bit more focused than they were during yesterday’s meeting, their messages still ranged from regulating banks to ending all wars to extending Los Angeles Unified School District’s academic year. None of those issues are overseen by the Los Angeles City Council.
The proposed Responsible Banking Ordinance would require financial institutions that do business with the city of Los Angeles to report annually on their lending activities and community reinvestment goals.
Whereas yesterday’s public comment period included a violinist, today City Hall was treated to a spoken word performance and a song performed by a man with a ukulele.
Absent from the vote were Councilmen Mitch Englander, Paul Krekorian and Ed Reyes.

Here is one of the obvious contradictions of this situation which should be so self evident.
The people have allowed themselves to be so conditioned to the snaillike process of corporate entities or there subsidiaries responsibilities to citizens-such as cable, utility, or other service institutions- as though it is Inevitable that such responsibilities (on their end) must take this ridiculous amount of time, yet conversely YOU, the people, you are just supposed to submit and except it, like a dumb fucking beaten down dog, you except this bullshit that you are told, perhaps grumble a little, yet just accept it, So you get what you deserve.
Wake up!, Get some fucking backbone, and have a fucking brain! A year is a long fucking time in a person's life, a year is a hell of a lot of precious time, because life is fucking short.
No more than 90 days, stop giving the corporate criminals an eternity to engage in their corporate criminal activity, this is the modern era, the 21st century with computers, have your fucking results together in 90 days or face stiff fucking penalties, Just like they do to YOU!
Don't listen to their criminal rhetoric, saying some kind of bullshit that "It would be totally impossible to have such things completed within 90 days" lies and more bullshit! think about anything concerning taxes, parking tickets, a property water bill or property back taxes, with a system that's currently in place, if YOU don't pay your utilities for 60 days, meaning any time YOU owe THEM money, those motherfuckers will cut you off, yet they always have an excuse why THEY can't possibly have some kind of report ready in time, that's because there fucking criminals!
90 days, that's it bitch, pay up, or face the consequences, just like the rest of us have to do! If you people Don't or won't, stop acting like dumb fucking cattle, you will continuously be treated as such, this is why we are in the state that we are currently in, WAKE THE FUCK UP!
or continue to be treated just like the bovine fucking creatures that you have allowed yourself to become!I remain, V
