The Eagle is sacred you say – we think not.

When money’s at play – the Anishinaabe can rot

To the Indians we say – just go away - suck the tribe

To the elected we say - money’s at play – offer the bribe

Mass murder and what not – that’s how we roll.

The fun of raping Eagle Rock – right in the hole.

We’ve told our kids it’s no fun to camp

It’s more fun as a blood sucking vamp

To us the Upper Peninsula is a place to trash.

At Rio Tinto Kennecott – we’re monsters that mash.

    • Where is the American entrepreneurial spirit? Where is the "Occupy" Halloween candy? What if we all gave out "Occupy" stuff this year?

      I am all for entrepreneurial spirit - but not at the cost of the environment.
      Rio Tinto/Kennecott Minerals are hands down the worst environmental violator (all their sites) in the mining industry.

      Plus committed mass murder and other human rights violations on the island of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea, bribery in China and many other crimes.

      Their latest crime is to dynamite a sacred Native American religious site called Eagle Rock in northern Michigan.

      "Yes" on business - "No" on greedy corporations who do not care.

      Yoop, you got me. I was having a 'brain fart' moment and playing with the topic. ;-) I have, however, also said that we should "space race" Social Media and Privacy into a viable tool for direct democracy. If we can better communicate, we can more easily learn how similar we are. I remember when all people on TV were white and the first black was MAJOR news (of course the first "inter-racial" (hate that stoopid term) on air couple were a Cuban and His Red! ;-)
