The news comes as only the latest bump in the road for the conservative congresswoman ahead of 2012. According to WMUR, five staffers left Bachmann's Granite State team.
After reports surfaced on the Bachmann campaign shake-up in New Hampshire, the GOP candidate told Radio Iowa, "That is a shocking story to me." She denied such changes to her Granite State team taking place and explained, "I don't know if this is just a bad story that’s being fed by a different candidate or campaign. I have no idea where this came from, but we've made calls and it’s certainly not true."
Ed Rollins stepped down as Bachmann's campaign manager last month and additional advisers to the presidential contender subsequently left her team.

Based on this and the article on NPR today, nothing she has done has been successful. She needs to go home and be that submissive wife now and leave us alone!

Bachmann or Palin, it would not have made a difference. The Tea Party was always looking for a MAN to step in. However, they are just the same, but they wear different underwear. Trump, Perry, Cain, none on these guys is any smarter than those two women. All of them spout such crap that they can only make Romney the nominee.

I would imagine she has come to the realization that she will not become the GOP nominee yet she remains in the race for three reasons. She still thinks she has a chance to be a VP Candidate, she also likes the attention, and most important people keep sending her money.

This is nothing new for her. She has a long history of not working well with others. There has been high turnover of her congressional staff, including 5 or 6 chiefs of staff.
As National Journal correspondent Major Garrett points out in this article, people work for her for a little while, then quit.

According to the interview on NPR, "She had indicated to some of us that she really wasn't interested in taxes — this was a job that she got, and I think, you know, she was learning as she went," says Forsberg. "But I didn't see any indication that she was ambitious in making tax law her career."
The IRS would not authorize a visit to its St. Paul office. But some of Bachmann's former co-workers say that much of the time she was employed there, she was not actually on the job. Forsberg says that while she herself generally took about half a dozen cases to tax court each year, records indicate that Bachmann litigated only two court cases the entire time she worked for the IRS.
"She and myself, we both had two maternity leaves during that period of time that she was there, so you obviously wouldn't have a case during that period of time. But I would say, on average, most people would have more cases for litigation than that," she says."
