Two Calgary, Alberta schools have banned "scary" Halloween costumes - costumes must be "caring."
What the heck does this mean, and who determines what's scary and what's caring?
What do you think? Is this ban appropriate or ridiculous?

In Catholic schools the only costume allowed is that of a priest, because every single priest is good as we all know.

I can't understand this at all. I've seen some scary uniforms in schools here in NY----uniformed Cops, if that ain't scary I don't know what is.

Yeah, it was in the paper here in Calgary. Apparently some other schools have a black and orange dressing day. Pretty sad, we're catering to extremists.
