Voyager, why not put together a little piece on the "TALKING BREASTS" over at FOX. As you know, they don't hire women over there for their brains (men either from what I can see).

Something along the lines of how long it would take the average FOX employee to turn traitor to them once he/she is out of work and to go to work for MSNBC or CURRENT.

In fact, MSNBC and CURRENT should hire one or two of those idiots away from FOX now and let them start dishing out the dirt on internal memos concerning news programming.

Just a thought.

If they hire anyone from Fox I will never watch MSNBC or Current.

I'm in favor of nonviolent, passive resistance that includes boycotting products and services that are manufactured and provided by corporations that have screwed taxpayers. In my opinion, street protests are ridiculed by those who live in gated communities, and street protests provide opportunities for innocent people to get maimed or killed. It is impossible for the fascists to use crowd control weapons against people who, in the privacy of their homes, simply choose not to participate in the corporate dance.

Don't buy from any "big-box" outlets, but it's OK to purchase from "mom & pop" stores. To boycott them would only hurt their small business and not the corporations, as their inventory has already been paid for.

I would also like to see an 8 1/2 x 11 graphic that people could print out and put in their windows to show their solidarity with the movement, even if they cannot directly participate. Something simple, but iconic, so when people drive down the street, they will see that we are indeed the 99%!

The problem with that is that you will just buy it THE NEXT DAY. If you want to be effective you need to target a specific product, like SHELL oil, then do not buy SHELL products ever.

Stop using their credit cards, get your cars serviced elsewhere, do not EVER buy their gas.

That would be effective. But I'm afraid a one day strike against a product does not even get their attention.

No, I was just suggesting you could organize a better boycott so we can all reap the benefits of our protest. The basic premise of your idea is good, BOYCOTT, but as was seen in the 60s and 70s, boycotting something for 1 day is neither efficient nor effective.

This is not personal, it is for everyone, and as such we owe it to each other to suggest the best, most efficient and effective way of doing things that will guarantee the maximum results.

As an example, if everyone said they will not buy any product advertised on FOX News for 1 day, that might not be effective. However, if we all write to the advertisers on FOX News and proclaim that we will no longer be buying their products until they STOP ADVERTISING ON FOX NEWS, FOREVER, that seems like it might get their attention and be more effective.

It worked for getting rid of Glen Beck.

I like Faux because it is constantly broadcasting easily disputed lies and like the Presidential candidates, it constantly shows how the right has no useful programs that they could use to turn the country around! All they can do is stand on the sidelines, name call and cheer for the country to go into the toilet so they can regain power! If you can't get the picture, then go watch (but as an aside, does it seem like Fox is hiring more and more people w/ shades/hues more like the population? Did Cain do this? ;-)
