BofA cancels Debit Fees – A Victory for the Protesters

An important step to have the banks cave into the pressure, but not the only victory since the strike in Oakland also sent the message that the banks depend of being able open to be able to do business and when a majority of people surround them and shut them down it threatens their profits.

Another even more important one is all the people moving their money out into credit unions and community banks that compromises the banks ability to gamble with that money on risky investments.
