That's Cool as Hell Haruko, I am not much of a climber or hiker, but I did visit Garden of the Gods this summer... Really cool and odd shaped Mountains there... =)

Yeah, when my boyfriend climbed a 14,400 foot peak in California, he came down and was spitting up blood. The lack of air pressure causes the capillaries in the lungs to expand and your lungs fill up with blood. It's called HAPE.

Yes, but he still climbs. He wants to do Denali or Vinson Massif or Kilimanjaro someday. :(
