Since the disastrous Supreme Court ruling in the Citizen United case, it appears that campaigns will never be the same. The illegal use of phony corporations to launder money into campaigns- in order to hide the actual source- is the newest mutation. Witness Mitt Romney and his million dollar contributors through his Restore the Future Super PAC.
