    • It's gotten to the point where GOP Candidates don't even pretend that they have facts to back this stuff up, they just fucking say it.

There is literally nothing Obama has done that is anti-Israel. But unless he puts an Israeli flag next to his American flag pin and constantly rants about how much he loves them and hates Palestine, there is nothing that can assuage the right-wing on that issue.

Because that's their default position, that's considered moderate.

Forget even considering whether or not they're a good ally, you're anti-Israel if you aren't relentlessly positive about literally everything they do.

    • As well he should stand with OWS that is what all those that work for this Nation should be doing. not double dealing to get rich off the American public at the cost of Americas freedom. Those that stand againest OWS are the trators and should be run or voted out of public service

      Agreed bailey78...

Bachmann... Obama is willing to stand with Occupy Wall Street and not Israel.

Occupy Wall Street is American, he should stand with us. I am sure Obama is for Israel as well. But for him America comes first. REALLY LISTEN to what Bachmann is saying. They want to keep America in WARS for ever remember what George Carlin said about the GOP and their WARS.

    • Until the debate format changes to allow someone to challenge their bullshit lies, they're nothing more than a propaganda machine for the right.

Good move. I generally use it to veg out, after I get too punchy to stare at the printed page. It doesn't take long to hit napville, particularly after Keith Olbermann and Ed Schultz are finished around 9PM. (Hey, I'm an early riser, like most people my age.)

    • I forced myself to watch some of this debate, it was all I could take.
Other than Paul and Huntsmen these idiots would have us bombing every Country that spoke a different language. These people are certifiably insane...along with most in attendance.
Everything, EVERYTHING ! that you would deem irrational, dangerous and disastrous these candidates are calling for and 90% of the time it's evident they have no understanding of the real issues in this Country
For most of them they seem to simply make up answers with bits and pieces of worn out talking points....How can a republican not be embarrassed by this train wreak? The whole debate itself is such a rigged farce...the bias towards the front runner is so obvious they should just put him up front with a huge spot light on him. Watching this spectacle makes one ashamed of being an American....

REAL ISSUES? There's only ONE issue STOP USING IMPORTED OIL. Thing is if the US isn't fighting for crude oil we might reduce our presence in the Middle East... and that would be REAL BAD cause then Israel's God might have to fight for Israel again.

CAIN'T HAVE THAT NOW CAIN WE?

Americans might be Free then, another Big Sin. That's why Israeli operatives in U.S. Government refuse to work up my Crude Oil Free engine system => 1. Combustion Engines = Friction 2. Friction = Heat 3. Heat = Steam 4. Steam = STEAM ENGINES

The science is there, Freedom beckons. Freedom bigger than a Jiffy Pop Popcorn Freedom from Oil > Freedom from Israel > Freedom from the entire STUPID FRIGGIN' WORLD, none of which Americans need.

    • It looks like these challengers only have money and I hate Obama going for them.By the time they get to debate Obama they will have used up a lot of the money and most voters will be tired of just hearing attacks on Obama. They are not going to want to hear that campaign slogan [cut taxes, gov,t is to big,do away with regulations,go to war with iran] we tried that policy starting in 2001 and ended up with a big problem in 2008.Our politicians in washington are taking the people to much for granted especially the republicans who thought it was a good idea to block the jobs bill that was over whelmingly favored by the people. To many of us[ republicans and democrats ] don,t want to relive that mistake again.

    • Uh..... OWS is efforts by US citizens. Israel isn't. Bachmann often compares apples and oranges. Seems to me that the GOP contenders often invoke weak and misguided messages towards a One Term Presidency agenda for Obama.

    • What a crock of SHIT!!!....

If Obama stood with "occupy" there wouldn't have been a need to occupy...

So what now he comes in hanging his head, knowing if he would have done something to begin with, once again "occupy" wouldn't have happened....

And Obama happened to have been the one to sell Israel "bunker buster" bombs that even the Bush administration was unwilling to sell them...

She is wrong on both counts.... .

Yet if Ron Paul was telling the fucking truth, NOBODY here would want to post or acknowledge it.....
      Thanks for the bullshit.....

Oh and Obama also supported the Egyptian government until he realized their people weren't going to give up either....

    • What makes the two mutually exclusive?
If either one of these statements are fact, what evidence is she using to substantiate them?
Why, when they are still in the primaries, is Ms. Bachmann running against the President?
Shouldn't she be selected by her party as the Republican candidate prior to running for the office of President?
Why is Ms Bachmann just a bunch of question marks??

      its called back handed racism.
in racist world the jews run the banks.wallstreet.
in racist world jews support israel across the board too.

so she is (unknowingly as usual) being a hate monger, by selling the narrative predicated on her bigotry that you cant both support occupy wich is against the jews/wallstreet and israel/jews.

welcome to the world of antisemtism we are always talking about that everyone likes to pretend doesnt exist.cuz we are just too sensetive us jews

I continue to hear references linking the Occupy movement and Antisemitism, yet I've not witnessed this in coverage and have read nothing in the progressive press pointing this out.
As a matter of fact, Jesse LaGreca, a very vocal supporter of the movement, is Jewish and categorically states there is no antisemitism as part of the movement focus.
I definitely don't want to be inadvertently defending Ms. Bachmann, but maybe you could point out some of what you consider examples of antisemitism.
      Maybe I'm missing something.

She has no evidence. She has nothing left. Cain, Romney and Perry have sucked up most of air in the room. The only way she can get attention, is to say something stupid like this. The mindless droids that listen to her, would a cheer at a belch from her.

oh no dont get me wrong, their are def neo-cons who call antisemitism when their is none.and the occupy movement literaly has absolutely nothing to do with any religious group or race of people in particular more than any other.

but its issues amongst the bigoted do.

the same way if their were to be a massive debate over welfare, those who are all about providing welfare on legit terms, or are against welfare on legit terms, would find themselves having to deal with the bigots who will take the legit positions and use them as validation for their bigoted bullshit.

what bachmann has done here, is validated the premise shared amongst the racist, that the jews=the banks, as well as the jews=israel.
creating a system in wich it is impossible to support both occupy and israel.when the reality is you can support occupy as it has nothing to do with the jews any more than anyone else, and israel is a just another nation.

it isnt that what is happening is antisemitic in actual policy.it is antisemitism being used as a valid way of expressing political concepts in the republican field.as usual.bachmann sending a wink and a nod to all her hate mongers, the same way she tried to send a wink and a nod to the zionists when she massacred chutzpah

Thank you for attempting to clear that up for me and frankly, if I look at her from a different viewpoint other than just considering her dumber than half a box of rocks, I've always considered her a very narrow minded and hateful person behind her religious facade. This is the case with many of the "Fundamentals" of all religions.
So it's not out of the question for her to espouse hate toward any religion other than the correct one, which just so happens to be hers.
