What if Cannabis Cured Cancer

Vierotchka
Could the chemicals found in marijuana prevent and even heal several deadly cancers? Could the tumor regulating properties of cannabinoids someday replace the debilitating drugs, chemotherapy, and radiation that harms as often as it heals? Discover the truth about this ancient medicine as world renowned scientists in the field of cannabinoid research explain and illustrate their truly mind-blowing discoveries. QUOTES: "What If Cannabis Cured Cancer summarizes the remarkable research findings of recent years about the cancer-protective effects of novel compounds in marijuana. Most medical doctors are not aware of this information and its implications for prevention and treatment. If we need more evidence that our current policy on cannabis is counterproductive and foolish, here it is." -Andrew Weil, M.D. "A hugely important film" - Julie Holland, M.D. NYU School of Medicine

    • The politicians that are invested in the pharmaceutical and prison industries do not care if it could cure cancer or any other illness. They will continue their anti-marijuana stance for reasons of MONEY! They do not care about people.

    • " Just so I won't feel so all ALONE, yes EVERYBODY must get stoned "
What a world it would be if all brands of cigarettes were made of the shake
of Cannabis plants of the Sativa, Indica, or Ruderalis family. And instead of
paper containing them, they simply had one leaf to roll them ? Tobacco does
have valuable uses as a muscle relaxant. But the nicotinic acid is also used
as an insect repellant to protect tree fruit. Kind of makes you think of what
humans have done to poison themselves instead of heal themselves, huh ?
By now any intelligent person understands that this wonder drug, can as
easily be used to prevent diease as a phrophylactic as it can to treat & cure.

    • It's also known that smoking Cannabis reduces high blood pressure. Then again who makes the money if it's legalized? It will not be big Pharma and they do not like that one bit.

That's why the nature of Corporations is made to be Monopolistic.
A Corporation is a central money collection machine like the hub
of a wheel. It's meant to expand into absorbing all the smaller
businesses like the largest fish eating the smaller fish. Eventually
one Corporation will dominate all other businesses in its field of
industry. And like a 1980s game of Pacman, it will make hostile
mergers to absorb its competitors. Big Pharma never existed before
the Fed MJ Prohibitions of 1937, 1972 left a vacuum of natural
healing agents from nature that were legal to use. One they tgave
in to the totalitarian FBI's evil, they threw all the enforcement of
the anti Trust statutes out the window. Big Pharma wants to control
ALL the drug use now to channel revenues into it's coffers. The
only other coffers it will allow to be filled is Organized Crime, because
by criminalizing a health issue, they took it out of the hands of the
people and their physicians, and put it into the hands of the Prison
Industrial Complex which controlls a $2.3 Trillion industry annualy.
They're the only serious rival Big Pharma has. Holder wants to have
a cushy job as a CEO of one of Big Pharma's Corporations, now that
as a careeer politicial he's at the end of his road. Hence BOzobama's
FBI pick as A.G. now supercedes him. But then he never believed in
Constitutional authority anyway, claiming it's: " An outdated piece of
paper ", which is the echo of George Bush Jr's lame words.

    • It does! Plain and simple forces from the dark side (Big Pharma) are the biggest obstacle standing in the way. 95% of any pharmaceutical or new pill developed by the drug cartel (Big Pharma) are derivatives of herbs. Look it up, that is a true statement, all the drug company's do is slightly arrange the DNA or chemical makeup to paten a new pill.

I see there was no question mark noted. Rightfuly so. After 3.5 years
of reading Jack Herrer's et al posts here on Current.com, there's no
question that as cannabinoids will treat cancers, they may even stop
the cancers that haven't gone past the point of no remission. You can
persuade people in Switzerland of this, and people in the U.K.of the
Netherlands of this. But don't waste your precious time convincing the
BOzobama/Holder bobsy twins of that truth. They're both Corporatist
puppets who take their orders from Big Pharma, the Prison Industrial
Complex, the Military Industrial Complex. They would rather pay the
U.S.military to train the central & south american military personelle
(whom they know defect to the drug cartels for better pay), supply
them with arms, then use Rice or Clinton to publicly grease Mexico
with $400 Million to keep the drug war going to line their pockets
rather than do the right thing. Supporting Racketeering is what
they've resolved to do since 1937. If the cold blooded suits has to
physicly climb over the decapitated dead bodies of their Mexican
victims, and track their blood onto their carpets, they wouldn't even
blink. And they'd do it a million times a day rather than to miss an
opportunity to see their payday graft. Ist das nicht klar ???

    • it is sooooo obvious....the powers that be do not care what the truth is.....it could stop aging and disease completely and they could care less, "let them die and be arrested..." and some of our STUPID NEIGHBORS are fine with it just because they don't like it. Hey I don't like fried food or whiskey......should I kick peoples doors in, take all their stuff, take their children, and ruin everything else left?????? When in court get a trial and defend yourself with THIS VIDEO. LOOK, at the jury and tell them it is their right to NOT SUPPORT unjust laws. Just like prohibition on fried foods, meat, alcohol, or tobacco would be.... Let the govt get an expert so you can cross examine "their" expert with scientific terms in the video....at the end of the trial, they'll say, "oh yea, well.....it's still illegal because we said so....so na na na na......we're not listening..." It's sadistically corrupt and CHILDISH....and no less by elderly people still in power in society.

      "Suicide Disease" Causes Intense Pain

After Admitting Using Marijuana The Sound of Police Cars Can Be Heard.

Austin, (TX) – According to sufferers of Trigeminal Neuralgia or TN the pain is like being struck by lightning or a sudden stab to the face.
The excruciating pain is so bad many call it "the suicide disease" because it has sufferers taking their own lives.
The affliction is a hard one for doctors to diagnose. At first people think the pain could be just a toothache. However, when they realize the pain doesn't go away after seeing the dentist, they find out they have TN.
Everyday Joseph Kenyon, a former artist who suffers from TN, feels pain.
"If it gets much worse I'm going to have to call off the interview," said Kenyon.
"Right now it's feeling like someone is taking a nail into the back of my eye," he told FOX 7.
For the past six years Kenyon has dealt with sleepless nights and numerous days stuck in bed. The condition is something that Kenyon says just happens.
"I was walking from the living room to the bathroom and all of a sudden it just felt like someone shot me in the face it felt like something sharp. It hurt so bad it dropped me to my knees," said Kenyon.
Doctor Michael Webb with the NeuroTexas Institute says this condition is usually seen in people 40 to 70 years old and is pretty rare.
"Sometimes as you get older your blood vessels become more firm and they can move a little bit and press against the trigeminal nerve," said Webb.
Symptoms are usually pain in the lower half of your face typically on one side, the pain comes and goes and can be triggered by talking, chewing or even brushing your teeth.
Doctor Webb says TN is often caused by blood vessels compressing against the trigeminal nerve.
Kenyon has tried everything and anything to suppress the pain - from opioids to even an illegal drug.
"Marijuana stopped it. It stopped the spasms it doesn't stop the pain completely. It gave me a feeling of relaxation," said Kenyon.

    • Team finds new way to boost potency of marijuana-like chemical in body
Led by Daniele Piomelli, UCI's Louise Turner Arnold Chair in the Neurosciences,
the team identified an "escort" protein in brain cells that transports
anandamide to sites within the cell where enzymes break it down. They found that
blocking this protein – called FLAT – increases anandamide's potency.
Previous work by the researchers indicates that compounds boosting anandamide's
natural abilities could form the basis of pain medications that don't produce
sedation, addiction or other central nervous system side effects common with
      existing painkillers, such as opiates.
"These findings raise hope that the analgesic properties of marijuana can be
harnessed for new, safe drugs," said Piomelli, a professor of pharmacology.
"Specific drug compounds we are creating that amplify the actions of natural,
marijuana-like chemicals are showing great promise."
For the study, which appears in the Nov. 20 online version of Nature
Neuroscience, he and his colleagues used computational methods to understand how
FLAT binds with anandamide and escorts it to cell sites to be degraded by fatty
      acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) enzymes.
Anandamide has been dubbed "the bliss molecule" for its similarities to the
active ingredient in marijuana. A neurotransmitter that's part of the body's
endocannabinoid system, it's been shown in studies by Piomelli and others to
play analgesic, antianxiety and antidepressant roles. It's also important in
regulating food consumption. Blocking FAAH activity enhances several effects of
anandamide without generating the "high" seen with marijuana.
Piomelli and his collaborators speculate that inhibiting FLAT (FAAH-like
anandamide transporters) might be particularly useful in controlling certain
forms of pain – that caused by damage to the central nervous system, for example
      – and curbing addiction to such drugs as nicotine and cocaine.
