Although the comic in me can't help but sit through the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every year and make snide remarks about the lip syncing, the bad jokes by the commentators and blatant commercialism of the whole thing the little kid in me just wouldn't be able to make it through the holiday without watching it. I admit I still get a little excited when I see my favorite float and when Santa shows up at the end I can almost forget just how cruel and chaotic this world is. There's a certain magic that just can't be put into words so I took the liberty of imagining what a parade full of my own characters might look like. I hope everyone has a safe holiday and that you find someway to make it magic.
