A thing to be upset about - and a job opening for geeks. Come up with software that counters this stuff and you could sell it. It's not often I find a upside to being hearing impaired. Never owned a cell phone in my life. Why own one if I can't use it?

One of the actors in Transformers, Shia LeBoeuf , starred in the movie:
Eagle Eye within the past decade. In one scene someone announces
that the Flunkie Bureau of Insects can use a cyberworm program to
lock onto the S.I.M. chip in any user's cell phone, then use the mic in
the phone as an eavesdropping device remotely, without even the red
power on lamp coming on to stop a person's attention to notice or even
suspect their phone has been hijacked, and them wired surreptitiously.
But then the movie Enemy of the State should have alarmed anyone
that the enemies of Liberty had this capability to criminaly abuse long
ago. The solution ? Learn how to make your home into one big Faraday
Cage. So until you learn how to manage that fete, for christ's sake, leave
your phone at home. And even then detach the battery pack from the
casing (no pun intended for Cloo channel watchers ) until you're ready
to use it. I only bought my Walmart trakphone to use in emergencies
if my VOIP internet digital phone line was disrupted. I never fancied the
idea of nuking my brain with microwaves. That's how I got to know if you
detatch the battery pack, they can't use your phone against you until
you do. So wear shirts with 2 pockets. Duh. - 6 months ago

They should just implant the microchips and get it over with.
It seems it is the way big brother is going and we either have no clue or no chance. - 6 months ago
