    • Exactly why Occupy has to happen, living in your own home should be a right, not a matter of dispute of a greedy bank. Gaddafi gave Libyan citizens homes, banks want to take them away from 103 year olds. If Gaddafi is a bad guy, what does that make the banks and their owners?

Oh, come on, if someone doesn't pay a mortgage, then you can't keep them in a home they don't own. That's crazy talk.

I'm all for government provided housing for the very poor or unlucky, or whatever, but if you buy a house you can't afford and live a ridiculous lifestyle, then you lose your house.

Now if unemployment paid the mortgage directly, that would be something.

...and what if you bought a house you could afford and don't live a ridiculous lifestyle, but lost your job due to the economy. Now you'd like to sell it to get out from under the mortgage, however it's currently worth much less than you paid (and borrowed) to purchase it.

Why is the homeowner the only one to be part of the risk involved with buying a home. Shouldn't the bank be involved in the potential loss as well?

    • Foreclosures are civil conflicts. They are not criminal acts. The Sheriffs do not have the lawful right to really throw anybody out of their homes. Have you ever seen a Sheriff or Marshall come to someone home and assist a repo man in taking an automobile away from someone on behalf of a bank or finance company. NO. Why not ? It's the same kind of contract. It's a civil dispute.People have become so lazy that they just refuse to learn what their rights are and fight for them.

I fought a wrongful foreclosure for over 3 &1/2 years on an issue of Clouded Title. The builder never had a clear title, so we got our first writ of possession from the Marshalls after being in our home for less than 3 months. Not all foreclosures are about non-payment of the mortgage. I was never behind on my mortgage until I put it on escrow 2 years later. The bank nor servicers couldn't produce any of the documents that we were asking for. THE BANK'S ATTORNEY DID A LOT OF THREATENING LIKE THE BIG BAD WOLF. They finally tried to jail my attorney and I hired another one right away. The judge eventually had to recuse himself from my case and the bank had to give me 90 extra days and pay me to move. The only reason why I moved was because I was tired of my wife was living scared and I had to get back to work on a full time basis. I swore to wife that I would never let anyone put her and all of our cherished belongings out of her home into the streets.I was literally prepared to die along with my dog protecting the front door of our home. My home today is just as nice and in a better sub-division, not that anything was wrong with the last one. We moved into our new home on our wedding anniversary.

This God of a woman, just like me, lives in Georgia,a non-judicial state. That means that the bank doesn't have to go to court to take your land. I learned a lot and moved on. I'm prepared for anything now.

If your home and family are worth fighting for, what is ? Be bold and the mighty forces will come to your aid !

      FUCK THE BANKS.

Vita Lee (above pic) has very beautiful hair. It's unfortunate the cops had to be rolled up into a "wonderful Christmas-time story" by the reporter. People are desperately grasping for the old days.

I'm glad to see you escaped that and duked it out. I'm in Virginia where everyone does what they want to lower classes. Citizen's Rights do not exist here so I never learned about them. It would only cause ulcers to find out it's even worse than I knew. I had a lawyer once who sided with my opponents, and then I paid him his $4,000 Fee out of the reduced settlement he got me.

I have however been Blessed many times over to design engines that do not use combustion fuels nor do they cause any pollution by-products whatsoever, so what these people do to me isn't equal to the blessings =>

      1. Combustion Engines = Friction 2. Friction = Heat 3. Heat = Steam 4. Steam = STEAM ENGINES. We can stop using gasoline & diesel-powered engines any ol' time we want. Makes a dandy electrical generator run also, so our homes can all go Free Energy any time we want ta do that too.

The Solar Cooker-powered generator is to die for. Rule by Crude Oil is over. Goliath is just too stupid to fall.

    • A good cop story for a change! We've been needing one. Nice to see the cops doing right by this lady. Thanks for posting, lazlo. This made my day. Maybe there is still hope for humankind.

Leen, if the spot light wasn't on, if the beatings at OWS gatherings, wasn't the top story, if she had a OWS sign on her wheel chair, she'd be pepper sprayed and thrown to the curb! Don't kid yourself! Its good exposure for the police and they sure as hell need it!

I had a police officer call asking for donations yesterday and I gave him an ear full about how the police were clubbing and pepper spraying innocent OWS demonstrators and told him to kiss my ass and never call again! Its good to blow off steam once in awhile but my wife thinks I'm losing it! LOL! I'll bet you a cup of coffee my name came off of that "to call list"!

Isn't that the same fear many Jews felt before the Gestapo came after them and threw them into death camps? We have to stand up and speak our minds? As a tax payer, these blue-shirts should be protecting citizens, not beating them!

A small victory in my mind but a victory all the same! Normally, I'd send contributions to these organizations, aka Vets, Firemen, Police, but not to the policemens asso. ever again.

I signed the online petition, and included a little note of my own to Deutchbank:
" Since your bank officer/bank policy allowed a family member other than the
property owner to apply for the loan, and receive it, without the written per
mission of the property owner herself, your loan was illegal. Don't compound
your error with a worse one by placing the owner under duress. "
