Fox's Camerota Promotes Phony War On Christmas: "Are Christians The Only Ones Being Forced To Be Tolerant?"

- "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." [Matthew 5:9]
- "Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." [Matthew 5:39]
- "I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despite-fully use you, and persecute you"; [Matthew 5:44]
- "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to cast a stone at her." [John 8:7]
- "So in everything, do to others as you would have them do to you." [Matthew 7:12.]
- "And when thou pray, thou shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou pray, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret…"[Matthew 6:6 & 7]
Geez, I can see why Christians feel so unjustly forced into tolerance. Whoever said those words obviously wasn't being fair. That person wants you to be a pacifist, enemy-loving, non-judgmental, kind, tolerant, accepting, and privately spiritual person. So "Christians", I say ignore his words and you go right ahead and be intolerant of those that don't fit into your box. And if they complain that you are forcing your box on them, scream "INTOLERANCE!!!!" at them. After all, we are a Christian nation with Christian laws and Christian values just like our Christian founding fathers envisioned. No room for tolerance in this Christian theocracy.
- “The government of the United States is not in any sense founded upon the Christian religion” ~John Adams
- "The question before the human race is, whether the God of Nature shall govern the world by his own laws, or whether priests and kings shall rule it by fictitious miracles?" ~John Adams
- "Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined, imprisoned; yet we have not advanced an inch towards uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion? To make one half the world fools, and the other half hypocrites. To support roguery and error all over the earth." ~Thomas Jefferson
- "Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the Common Law." ~Thomas Jefferson
- "Lighthouses are more helpful than churches." ~Ben Franklin
- "In the affairs of the world, men are saved not by faith, but by the lack of it." ~Ben Franklin
- "The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authority; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing; and it admits of no conclusion." ~Thomas Paine
- "The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries." ~James Madison
- "Experience witnesseth that ecclesiastical establishments, instead of maintaining the purity and efficacy of religion, have had a contrary operation. During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution." ~James Madison
Oh sweet baby Jesus! How dare they say such things! How intolerant!!! The audacity of those unpatriotic heretics!!!

"Santa"; move the "n" from the middle to the end of the name. Now you have the correct spelling for the master of greed who runs this orgy of consumerism we call "christmas" because we all know happiness only comes from lots and lots of worthless chinese junk that either poisons you or breaks soon after the wrapping paper is tossed out. This is one "war" I'm for.

But that only applies to dyslexics that make the mistake of sitting on Satan's lap to ask for presents
Also those that get confused and sell their souls to Santa by getting kidnapped into a sweat shop making toys for slave wages

Uh, though I can understand that Santa Claus is a Christian tradition, I don't really understand where in the Bible it is mentioned... and therefor I don't really understand why an "journalist" who is reporting on the "bias" "war on Christmas" would bring it up...

The purpose of the fictional war on Christmas is to help keep people divided. It's nonsense. Any mature adult with at least average intelligence and the time to think it out will understand why it is wrong for the government to endorse one religion over any other, but keeping us fighting amongst ourselves over ridiculous bull-crap is how the elite keep us from realizing who our real common enemy is.

The Norse Pagans decorated an evergreen tree with dried fruits. When animals(preferably deer) would come to check out the free snacks, they in turn would be shot for the Yuletide feasting. So in all actuality, it is the Christians that are having a war on Yule, a holiday that was celebrated long before they even existed as a religion.

The sad truth about Christmas is the only thing that makes it Christian is the fact that Christians stole the holiday from Roman pagans.

It's always a distraction to get "on their high horse of fake outrage" when their purpose is to try and force their opinions onto others for their own power and control.
After all the "true spirit of Xmas" doesn't need religion, or presents since it "comes without packages, boxes or bags" that lesson conitues to be taught by the Whos even though many try to ignore it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkDELa8YSqY
"Welcome, Christmas, bring your cheer. Cheer to ALL Whos far and near. Christmas Day is in our grasp, so long as we have hands to clasp. Christmas Day will always be just as long as WE HAVE WE. Welcome Christmas while we stand, HEART TO HEART, and hand in hand."

It's even more predictable than Godwin's Law that The holiday season wouldn't feel the same without people going out of their way to be offended by nothing.
Some people can't stand to have any "goodwill toward men" to have a chance at spreading so they have to do all they can to make everyone as miserable by formenting fake outrage over trivia.

Bill will certainly be able to greet them when they get there and give them a *warm* welcome, since he's been "flogging that dead horse" for over a decade.
"For the past 15 years, we have stood up for Christmas here on the 'Factor.'"
Thus began Bill O'Reilly's latest effort in his long-running war against the "War On Christmas."
O'Reilly and Fox News have attracted much public ridicule for their extensive reporting on the perceived threat against the holiday, but they are as committed to it as ever. On Friday, O'Reilly took aim at Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee, who has become a target of Fox News for erecting a "holiday tree" instead of a Christmas tree. "Amazingly dumb!" O'Reilly said. He also called out his favorite enemy, the "secular progressives" of the world."
