Fox's Camerota Promotes Phony War On Christmas: "Are Christians The Only Ones Being Forced To Be Tolerant?"

WakeUpPeople
I'm trying to think of a prominent figure that called for Christians to be tolerant. I can't remember his name...

- "Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." [Matthew 5:9]
- "Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." [Matthew 5:39]
- "I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despite-fully use you, and persecute you"; [Matthew 5:44]
- "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to cast a stone at her." [John 8:7]
- "So in everything, do to others as you would have them do to you." [Matthew 7:12.]
- "And when thou pray, thou shall not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou pray, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret…"[Matthew 6:6 & 7]

Geez, I can see why Christians feel so unjustly forced into tolerance. Whoever said those words obviously wasn't being fair. That person wants you to be a pacifist, enemy-loving, non-judgmental, kind, tolerant, accepting, and privately spiritual person. So "Christians", I say ignore his words and you go right ahead and be intolerant of those that don't fit into your box. And if they complain that you are forcing your box on them, scream "INTOLERANCE!!!!" at them. After all, we are a Christian nation with Christian laws and Christian values just like our Christian founding fathers envisioned. No room for tolerance in this Christian theocracy.

- “The government of the United States is not in any sense founded upon the Christian religion” ~John Adams

- "The question before the human race is, whether the God of Nature shall govern the world by his own laws, or whether priests and kings shall rule it by fictitious miracles?" ~John Adams

- "Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burnt, tortured, fined, imprisoned; yet we have not advanced an inch towards uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion? To make one half the world fools, and the other half hypocrites. To support roguery and error all over the earth." ~Thomas Jefferson

- "Christianity neither is, nor ever was, a part of the Common Law." ~Thomas Jefferson

- "Lighthouses are more helpful than churches." ~Ben Franklin

- "In the affairs of the world, men are saved not by faith, but by the lack of it." ~Ben Franklin

- "The study of theology, as it stands in the Christian churches, is the study of nothing; it is founded on nothing; it rests on no principles; it proceeds by no authority; it has no data; it can demonstrate nothing; and it admits of no conclusion." ~Thomas Paine

- "The purpose of separation of church and state is to keep forever from these shores the ceaseless strife that has soaked the soil of Europe in blood for centuries." ~James Madison

- "Experience witnesseth that ecclesiastical establishments, instead of maintaining the purity and efficacy of religion, have had a contrary operation. During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution." ~James Madison

Oh sweet baby Jesus! How dare they say such things! How intolerant!!! The audacity of those unpatriotic heretics!!!
