That is what the establishment would have you believe the term anarchist means. The established order we live under is supposed to be a representative democracy. A rule "of, by, and for the people", this is what we're told. We have a voice, we vote in elections, and if we don't like current policies change them. That is the illusion of our great nation, aside the oversimplification of anarchism.

Time and time again we've been shown this isn't true, the rule of law isn't. The rule comes from money, privilege, the oligarchy. Banks got bailed out, we got sold out isn't just a rallying cry, but the reality. Corporations load K Street with lobbyists, the better part of the D.C. metropolitan area all lobbyists. There are typically 3 lobbyists from each major corporation, for each representative we have "elected" into office. These lobbyists in many occasions write the very bills that are then passed into law. Because money rules, because democracy doesn't exist in the United States of America.
To many that would seem very much like "anarchy" according to what is even taught to us is the society we live in "representative democracy", this money has subverted our democracy. There is no rule by the people, no rule of the people, no rule for the people. There is only rule of the strongest as defined by monetary acquisition. This is so disgustingly true, and swept under the rug, when not being directly lied about, our "leaders" should be ashamed.
Still I certainly couldn't be able to demonstrate the these facts right? How about the brazen disregard for law shown by the United States government to the whole world itself.... Certainly this can't be demonstrated?

Scoff away I have plenty of examples (in no particular order, I will point out Obama first, he is the acting president, Bush's crimes aren't forgotten they just aren't ongoing unless you see Obama as the continuation of Bush that he is);

Marijuana law reform has been nothing short of demanded straight to Obama himself on several occasions, what were his responses?

Obama (campaign) promised to not go after the legal medicinal marijuana industry, they are in the act of completely dismantling the legitimate medicinal marijuana industry as we speak.

Bradley Manning, we've kept him in inhumane conditions if not tortured him, all testimony acquired from him about any potential crimes is in question because of the brutality (bordering on torture) and coercion used to gain whatever info they've obtained. Now all that effort from a legal standpoint, has been wasted, any honest judge would throw any confession out the window. Why would Obama allow such brazen breaking of the laws of our land? Only one reason, the fear factor, intimidation, much like the Mexican cartels cutting the heads off of bloggers, it sends a message.

Much like GITMO, message sent, promise broken.

What about the executive order allowing for both Obama and the JSOC (independently without accounting to one another)to commit extrajudicial murders, they don't even have to acknowledge they carried out? If either deem someone a "threat", they according to their corrupt laws, can just eliminate the threat. Once again, it may very well be a policy they never use, but this is all out intimidation.

What of the voting fraud going back since probably the dawn of European "rule" of the country? So clear in 2000, so clear in 2004... No charges ever filed, even Al Gore knowing what was going on in 2000 with the "appointment" of a president just rolled over, handed it to Bush, and faked a nice apology. That remains an outrage.

Enron, Tyco, GM, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mack, all these corporations (and many more not so fresh in mind) defrauding shareholders and other customers. Some taking massive bailouts, while paying unprecedented bonuses to CEO's. Look at corporations going back further and their policies. They made a Hollywood blockbuster movie about PG&E years ago, "Erin Brackovich"... What has happened since then? Well PG&E got slapped on the wrist, and the natural gas industry discovered "clean" hydrofracking and are essentially doing the same shit. Where is the outrage? What about the "Clean Coal" propaganda showing up on almost every channel of you Tell-Lie-Vision, where is the outrage there? Everyone forget the Tennessee Valley spill some years back, coal ash slurry ruining miles of farmland....? We forget that so soon? Or how about the "Harlan County War" where a company had a slave labor force of miners, and had the government send in the national guard to help them keep the uprising down?

There are myriad other clear examples, highlighting them all won't help, but the 99% is right, they have a right, and haven't even begun to fight. Because we don't have to, we know better, the disobedience will be civil and unrelenting.... Actually, we've been winning the battles, the war will be won in much the same manner.

Those are the actions, and intentions of your inverted totalitarian government and corporate power structure. Nothing short of anarchism, nothing short of a violent overthrow of the democracy.... And there are many more examples, but you probably wouldn't care, some would like to spin reality....

It doesn't really matter how or what you think of the government. Whether or not we have a representative democracy, or an inverted totalitarian society. The fact of the matter happens to be, those making policy decisions, left and right are anarchists.

I tell you openly I'm an anarchist, a peaceful anarchist, and what would it make me to want to take the power back from the oligarchs and restore a actual democracy controlled by the people.... Get real specific, I'm no anarchist at all I'm a humanist.

Any thoughts?

    • I first read this before I went to work. I figured I would think about it today and come up with a comment. The only thing I can say is that it might just be time for an actual revolution. Anarchy would not be the reason and anarchy would not be the result. Getting rid of the people destroying our country would be the reason and saving The Republic would be the result.

    • * The law has been used to destroy its own objective: It has been applied to annihilating the justice that it was supposed to maintain; to limiting and destroying rights which its real purpose was to respect. The law has placed the collective force at the disposal of the unscrupulous who wish, without risk, to exploit the person, liberty, and property of others. It has converted plunder into a right, in order to protect plunder. And it has converted lawful defense into a crime, in order to punish lawful defense.

      * Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850)
