As a progressive, I will NEVER again support Obama. In fact, I am leaving the Democratic Party and joining the Justice Party. It's worth a try, because the corporate Dems. are no better than the corporate ReThugs. I will support Rocky Anderson, the former 2-term progressive Democratic Mayor of Salt Lake City in the Republican state of Utah. We are not dumb, Ms. Granholm. We have eyes and ears, and we read and listen. Obama's spin no longer works on those of us who are intelligent enough to see through it. It is sad to realize that Current TV is so biased as to continue that Democratic SPIN. I thought that this network would be different. Never again will I vote for the lesser of 2 evils. I will work and vote for the best candidate, and that is Rocky Anderson.

Granholm should also consider that progressives may vote for Obama but they may not campaign for Obama.
Will that make the difference assuming Romney is the nominee? We know Romney has great organization.
I am disappointed at Granholms superficial responses.

I hope this show is not going to be the whitehouse mouthpiece.
Secondly, there are several things Obama could have done for civil liberties and the environment without the consent of Congress.
Granholm should address this.

On Tuesday, November 4th, Barack Obama was elected President of the United States of America. In his acceptance speech Obama declared, "a new dawn of American leadership is at hand."

"Free of foreign oil" includes Canadian tarsands which you even know is not going to end because Obama made a deal with Harper just as Bush did. Why do you think carbon emissions were at their highest in 2010 and are still rising?---Tarsands! This country is awash in their addiction and most of it now comes from Alberta which is destroying ecosystems and killing indigenous people. Why aren't you decrying Obama's State Dept. for approving the Alberta Clipper tarsands line and for not saying no to Keystone? Obama's Dept. of the Interior's permit for Shell to drill in the Arctic? BP getting clearance to drill once again in the Gulf? Are you serious with these softball questions and answers?
And climate change isn't just a cliche'. Real people are dying because this Congress on both sides of the aisle along with a president who has not used the bully pulpit regarding climate change which he can still do regardless of Congress to build demand from citizens have done nothing aggressive to stave off the 3 plus degree rise we will see by end of century which will devastate life as we know it. But oh yes, it is just soooooo exciting getting a new studio...I'm beginning to wonder if some of the people sending you questions already know you.
Your apologizing for Obama on environment when Bush was rightfully held to his despicable immoral choices and the enabling of the Republicans in their destruction of this planet is disingenuous. (Bush was "the worst environmental president" as stated many times by Democrats, but NOTHING is Obama's fault?) But then, after serving on the board of DOW Chemical and by proxy then supporting their toxic legacy (which is a question asked of you multiple times which you continue to evade because it is just too revealing) I then don't think the environment is as important to you as it is to many other "progressives" and is actually very telling you only use it as a political issue. And as far as this political season being "exciting," I would rather watch paint peel.
