    • I'm sorry Bill but I refuse to dirty up my mind with this stupid dingbat & her brainless cronies opinions. I did not watch it and I will not watch it. HAPPY HOLIDAY!

I all honesty Bill I'm beginning to reject peace on earth because that means all the evil that assholes on this planet have committed will get away with it. I vote for Peace on earth after issuing out punishment to all those who really deserve it.

I was born an optimist....but gradually I've become a pragmatist. It's taken 61 years for me to go through the metamorphosis...but step by step, inch by inch...I SLOOOOWLY turned!

For better or for worse, I cannot say.

      Cheers 2 Beers 2 U!

I totally understand! I am of the opinion that things will get worse before they get better. Sometimes I feel we won't rise up until we allare out in the streets with no where to go and nothing to eat and until then we take comfort in the little that is allotted us to live on.

      Decided to restart my blog.

      Check it out.

      I have to do SOMETHING!

You mean like that proverbial box when the last pebble is dropped into it and it can't be lifted? No one knows how many pebbles it will take before it becomes too heavy....that's the way I see this dilemma we find ourselves in today. When a "threshold" is crossed and that last person is homeless and hungry...or must watch as their children go to bed hungry too many times, then all Hell will break loose!

And then there will be no way to stop the revolution!

I mean exactly like that! We are not far from that moment when all attempts to reason and justify what is happening will no longer suffice and then and only then will the tide rise and the wave sweep through!

    • I am amazed by the speech pattern of Jannique Stewart with her "a...bil...i....ty" to break multisyllabic words into space and time continuum gaps in between!

Like "par........tee" in place of the word party.

The other members of this esteemed group are Jennie Jones, Anne-Marie Murrell and of course Victoria Jackson.

Actually, I always liked the skit "Spot the Looney" with one clip where the camera panned over the House of Lords and the looney detector went off repeatedly. It would be the same here with the Senate and especially the House.

      Happy Holidays

It's all the same in the end...like Animal Farm where the pigs eventually become the lords and masters over all the other animals thinking they were "special".

Can you believe parents and teachers thought nothing about letting young kids watch this back in the 1950s?

It taught me at an early age to beware of those who wield power....that it corrupts....absolutely! And it doesn't have to be absolute power to do so!

Yes I read both 1984 and Animal Farm when I was 12. This summer I read them again, except now instead of thinking that it was something that a government run rampant could do, i felt it was something a government did do.
