Thank You OWS! For your courage to provide an intervention on establishment's failing policies and isolationism in enclaves that distances them from the harsh results of their anti-social decisions.

The opening scene brought back memories from the beginning of Occupy Seattle. Our encampment in Westlake Plaza (renamed "Liberty Plaza" in solidarity with the Egyptian revolution that helped set off the continuing worldwide movement for a just and free society) was covered in tents, which amassed between large trees within the concrete park. Some people climbed into the trees, a few of them musicians, reclining in the limbs to play and write music while the rest of us below talked, debated, organized and created together. It was as if the concept of society had manifested itself in actual people and conversations, right in the center of the commercial district itself. The stark contrast between mindless greed and genuine community spoke as loudly about our message as those now-ubiquitous mic checks did. Everywhere people spoke and listened, engaged in one massive conversation. Every conversation, however, was ultimately about one thing: the world is fucked up, and we have to fix it. The financial institutions, governments, courts, schools, police, college: all profoundly broken. The fundamentals of society have fallen apart, and the people have come out of their denial to talk with one another about what to do next. Everyone seems to realize that our society is broken and on the path to ruin, even if they disagree about the causes or solutions. George Carlin summed up the bitterness about our society best when he said this:
"The table is tilted, folks. The game is rigged. And nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. [...] That's what the owners count on: the fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red white and blue dick that's being jammed up their asshole every day. Because the owners of this country know the truth: it's called the American Dream because you have to be asleep to believe it."
Along with the rest of the world, and led only by common conscience, Americans are waking up. The dream is over. The work begins.

Ty #Occupy, for demonstrating to the people they do have a voice, they can stand up peacefully and draw legitimate attention to the plight of the American people.... I'd especially like to thank the "anarchist' element that maintained it's composures and helped dispel myths about anarchists, was a much needed service....
So When do we get back to it?..... I'm thinking MLKJr. day is ideal..... Now if the weather is bad I could see holding it off, but no later than mid-March we've got to hit the streets until the power elite realize just where their power lies.....
