Capitalism will eventually KILL YOU!

Merry Christmas to all, I couldn't think of a better time than now to finally release a long awaited series of editorials on the REAL enemy "Capitalism".

The BIG PICTURE for some is hard to see, but if you try, you will see what our Revolution is really all about. Come this Spring and for the rest of 2012, the majority of our population the 99% as we have defined our movement will need to be educated in why things are so screwed up. It's a series because, it's going to take a lot of ink from various sources to explain in detail what needs to take place.

Lets start off by showing you that our current form of Government is nothing more than a facade. It only represents the Capitalist on most every front, from Global Warming to Healthcare. Thousands if not millions are dying this year because of our Governments refusal to participate in any Global effort to reverse the obvious insane destruction of our Planet and it's resources. I think the Right Wing Economist Milton Friedman said it best "The only Social Responsibility of Business was too make as much profit for it's share holders as possible". At what cost? Really do I need to tell you the obvious out comes of a run amuck Capitalistic system that will send 29 Coal Miners to their death because a Capitalist CEO decided that proven mine safety provisions that already exist should be ignored in his mines. You see the Union mines already have these safety rules in place, but a Union worker mine is just too expensive and cuts into a Capitalist profits.

The total insanity of the Healthcare Industry here in the good old USA, lets the Mafia controlled Insurance Industry full rain of who gets Healthcare and who doesn't. 50,000 Americans die needlessly from this absurd system every year in a country we are told has the best medical care in the World. We had a chance a few years ago to install a single payer system like Medicare for all, but oh no we can't have a system that doesn't involve the death panels of Capitalist Insurance company's calling the shots for all citizens. We all saw the lies spread by our Corporate Media during this one sided debate, so many of you will die at the hands of these Capitalist.

Capitalist economics treats the Air, Rivers, Seas, and Soil as if it is a gift from Nature to Business around the World. The Unregulated Capitalist will eventually KILL you and your friends and relatives eventually unless you are willing to get active this Spring.

I hope to bring this editorial format to you as often as possible over the next year if only to remind you all what you already know in your hearts!

Sincerely:

Kennymotown.

    • The winter season will put a damper on the OWS actions but come spring I suspect a new season of protests. The inequities of whats taking place and the ambivalence of DC to do anything will bring many out of the woods to show support to whats a real revolution in the making. This next year will be a gas to be alive.

    • What people need to understand is it's american-laissez-faire-style-capitalism that's our problem, not capitalism itself. Sane countries that actually care about their citizens (and actually take care of things like education, healthcare, etc) have capitalism. They control it as is necessary. They do well, and their people are by-and-large Happy (yes I'm talking about those godless-socialist-pinko-commie-eurpoean "social democracies" the wrong-wingers hate with every fiber of their soulless beings)! Imagine that! Happy people, in a sane secure prosperous country! Any-and-all god(s) what a wonder! If I wasn't a dead-poor typical 99% american I'd flee to one of those paradises in a heartbeat!

    • The father of capitalism had the following to say:

No society can surely be flourishing and happy, of which the greater part of the members are poor and miserable. It is but equity, besides, that they who feed, cloath and lodge the whole body of the people, should have such a share of the produce of their own labour as to be themselves tolerably well fed, cloathed and lodged.
      Book I, Chapter VIII, pg.94

Our merchants and master-manufacturers complain much of the bad effects of high wages in raising the price, and thereby lessening the sale of their goods both at home and abroad. They say nothing concerning the bad effects of high profits. They are silent with regard to the pernicious effects of their own gains. They complain only of those of other people.
      Book I, Chapter IX, pg.117

The great affair, we always find, is to get money.
      Book IV, Chapter I, pg.460

When the profits of trade happen to be greater than ordinary, over-trading becomes a general error both among great and small dealers.
      Book IV, Chapter I, pg.469

The violence and injustice of the rulers of mankind is an ancient evil, for which, I am afraid, the nature of human affairs can scarce admit a remedy.
Book IV, Chapter III, Part II, pg.531

Civil government, so far as it is instituted for the security of property, is in reality instituted for the defence of the rich against the poor, or of those who have some property against those who have none at all.
      Book V, Chapter I, Part II, 775

The tolls for the maintenance of a high road, cannot with any safety be made the property of private persons.
      Book V, Chapter I, Part III, Article I, pg.786

Though the principles of the banking trade may appear somewhat abstruse, the practice is capable of being reduced to strict rules. To depart upon any occasion from these rules, in consequence of some flattering speculation of extraordinary gain, is almost always extremely dangerous, and frequently fatal to the banking company which attempts it.
      Book V, Chapter I, Part III, pg.820

The subjects of every state ought to contribute towards the support of the government, as nearly as possible, in proportion to their respective abilities, that is, in proportion to the revenue which they respectively enjoy under the protection of the state.
Book V, Chapter II, Part II, pg.892

This disposition to admire, and almost to worship, the rich and powerful, and to despise or, at least, neglect persons of poor and mean conditions, though necessary both to establish and to maintain the distinction of ranks and the order of society, is, at the same time, the great and most universal cause of the corruption of our moral sentiments.

Smith understood that capitalism is both a good and an evil, that wealth and the pursuit of money is a corrupting influence, and that business should be regulated and taxed.

Most people have no understanding of history, and therefore, no understanding. Knoweldge is truly power and those that have the power keep the knowledge to themselves so that the masses become sheep.

I wouldn't put much stock in that compilation of propaganda written for tyrants by PR firms of those times. There is no salvation to be found in misappropriated myth and stolen cultural stories once meant to frighten unruly children or pass on vague ideas desperately seeking to explain the mysteries of the waxing and waning of the moon.

If we committed murder or adultery in those times, the first excuse was to blame heavenly origins. Sometimes it was either that or death for those unfortunate enough to be subjected to oppressive laws or ignorant superstition.

Heaven and Hell are merely terms meant to convey your choice for the state of environment you live within on Earth. The choice is up to you. Which ever state you prefer, you shall receive.

    • The protestants gave us capitalism, gee thanks. The early christians gave is the Crusades, that went over well, guess who gave us the Dark Ages? again a great time in mans social development. Lets see, oh, how can I forget the Salem witch hunts, another milestone in church and female identity issues. Of course the Pope was very aggressive in handling the issues of pedophilia, many victims of which still living with the guilt and shame of that sordid affair. You know, I just don't get how those who believe in a boogie man get up in the morning and feel no shame in the history of the church. They're not stupid people, some I know being very intelligent, but how do you close your eyes to a belief system that has proven to be a hindrance to mankind rather than a force for good? Whats the catch? I asked my dad once what the church was all about, his response was that it is just another form of Aesop's fables. Now thise who study theology will tell you that the bible is made up of parables and other forms of literary interpretation, Fine I say, but when are THEY gonna get it and join the human race?

And he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall not exist any more, nor grief, nor cry, nor distress shall exist any more, for the former things have passed away. Rev. 21.

You don't think humans need some of that? A world where people no longer pass away? NO MORE FUNERALS? Maybe you and your Dad are the ones not in the human race.

The Book is Good. People in the past who messed up are dead. You plan to let DEAD PEOPLE deprive you of the promise? That's right ridiculous.

    • Capitalism extracts all the GOOD STUFF from foods and sells it to ya through Health Food Stores. It should be added to cereals or something, time release. That would end needing Medicare so much.

      SCRATCH PROJECTED NEEDS FOR MEDICARE.

      BE SAVING TRILLIONS HAND-OVER-FIST.

Capitalists are patenting food supplements grown in the ground. It's their new source of money => charge everybody for what they removed from foods.

Capitalism is killing people a whole lot faster than "eventually".

A tail about how the 1% screwed the whole world ~And... YOU ARE NEXT! >>>

A TRUE STORY: About how the 1% screwed the whole Third world out of all their resources and murdered millions of good people. Today, the Third World has finally wised up to the evil 1% and their greed and murderous tactics and they have kicked the World Bank and IMF out of their countries.

With that said... here is the what we all need to know...

Now with no one else that they can screw in the third world. The 1% vultures have now come home to feed on the bones of their very own citizens... Starting their feast with Iceland, Ireland, Greece ~ these were only small appetizers ~ The Main coarse is still ahead.... It is all of us! The 1% are now comfortably waiting to come in for the kill... and pick all our bones for pennies on the dollar & moldy crust of GMO bread. To the 1%.... We all are expendable... We are the Cattle and... it's time to thin-out the Herd! If they own all the wealth... Because, all they need after that... is gardeners and domestic help!

Expect Us!!! The voice of Christmas past has spoken!

What kind of social relations does capitalism foster? Is it sane for a species like ours to live in a world where every single person is a potential competitor? Can capitalism even possibly continue as it is?

To me capitalism creates nothing but a society of obsessive paranoiacs, perfectly suited to be led by psychopaths.

Denying all U.S. Citizens across the the USA Healthcare that each and everyone of our elected officials all willingly receive! We starve All and die... As they all sit "Fat and Happy" Smiling with over $ 1.6 Trillion in U.S. Currency stashed in their bank accounts = That's 23% of the total US GDP!!! They think time is on their side... Maybe they should think again! http://ow.ly/89W1P

    • I agree the government does pretty much represent the "capitalist" on every front (except the military, which might as well be a socialist militant organization)... Even with whatever "green" initiatives and curbing carbon, it's all about carbon credits and basically bribing corporations to cut emissions. The medical industry is much the same, the pharmaceutical lobby is huge, and compare your next emergency room visit with the costs, anything that could be bought outside the hospital cost outrageously more in the hospital... Damn 25$ Tylenol, around 40$ for an Ace bandage, and that's just par for the course... Them (the pharmaceutical lobby) outlawing natural remedies, or effectively legislating monopolies on supplements, issuing patent rights for cannabis and everything else, an outrage.

I'm not ready to completely throw capitalism under the bus, though I am willing to say that peoples needs are more important than other peoples vanities. We should have universal health-care (including dental), college to anyone who's willing to go and take it seriously, maybe a maximum wage, a definite raise in minimum wage unless inflation can be seriously brought down. You can call it whatever you want to, but it's Christmas, many people would have us believe it's about Jesus; a man who went around challenging the government and organized religion, while healing people for FREE....

But once peoples basic needs are met, there is some amount of responsibility and accountability.... Like the state not paying for someone to have 10 kids, and everyone having some decent standard of living, I'm sorry some jobs are more important, some people are more valuable to a community and should be compensated as such...

My main issue with any of these ideas, ideas I firmly believe could work, and are the right things to do. The government is so bloated, corrupt, bribed off, unaccountable and everything else it's almost pointless to try enact any of this right now. You would have to go in, gut the government and slowly build it back ensuring accountability, transparency, and the ability to remove corruption immediately. Universal health-care would bankrupt us to the medical industrial complex if we just instated it right now.

Until there is serious reforms within the system, people and corporations will continue to just screw us over. It sounds nice it really does, but can everyone agree to pay 25$ a Tylenol should that Tylenol be provided at an ER? Hell no we'd go bankrupt...

And the EPA, the FDA, all these other corrupt government institutions are corrupt and half-assed at best. Damn BP ignored the EPA, and got away with it, the FDA outlawed most nutritional supplements (they do allot of other fuct shit too), we got the DEA enforcing a war on PLANTS!!!! It's all fuct up....

So let's just give the government more control?

Not the brightest idea either btw.... It does sound nice, this fairytale of meeting everyones basic needs and we should, but not before gutting the whole system and rebuilding it correctly. And blaming capitalism, when socialism, and communism have at times produced the same problems? What's the point, it's all as flawed as the humans or corporations we let have to much power, just sayin....

Oh yeah.... Merry; X-Mass or Christmas, Happy; Hanuka, Festivus, or Kwanza....

NONE of the current systems of government used in pure form will work for the people. It will take a proper Mix of the good parts of each with regulations to restrict the bad parts of each, basically a New form of governance that has yet to be completely explained or Named and it will take a Long time to slowly move towards this possible future that we Desperately need.

Very true. Pure communism would be just as prone to failure as pure democracy. As long as greed twists and warps the way we apply any political system it will fail. As you say they need to be combined and regulations inserted (and enforced) to prevent excesses of power from rotting the system from the inside.

Pure Capitalism, like what Ron Paul wants, is completely Unregulated by definition. A lack of regulations in ANY form of society whether it be Capitalism, Socialism, Communism, or any other ism, allows those with no conscience to abuse all others. There will ALWAYS be those who care nothing for anyone but themselves and will do Anything to make money no matter who it hurts. That is why "Regulations" are Required in Any form of society as a way for society to keep those soulless thieves from destroying people's lives for their own selfish profits. “Proper Regulation” of society is KEY to a prosperous and Fair society which is why Pure Capitalism will NEVER work for “the people”.

As a matter of fact, I AM a good neighbor, but so are my neighbors ... almost 2 years ago now our house burned down -- the company that had replaced our old furnace 18 mos earlier sent out a seriously clueless tech to do a simple check on it. As we were rushing out of the house the tech said, "I must not have gotten the gas turned down all the way." Our neighbor across the street helped Mike get across the street and me get our dogs into her house. The neighbor on the other side brought us clothes and coats (since we only got out with the clothes we were wearing. The Catholic church in our neighborhood took a collection for us and gave us $150 in gift cards to Shopko and No Frills (grocery store). We have truly wonderful neighbors and as far as you being a neighbor is concerned ... there are no cities or states on the www, so I already consider you to be one of my neighbors :-)!
The end of my 'fire' story is that the company the tech worked for built us our new house and it has everything I have always wanted. She (the house) sits on top of the foundation to our old house so we still have a small piece of our 'little yellow house' but now she is the 'little wiccan cottage' :-)! And every time I talk with anyone about this experience I say:"If you want a new house have Aksarben service your furnace!" :-) :-)
At the end of the day I've paid my dues and I deserve to be happy and not afraid of whatever tragedy may be lurking around the corner, and this year with our elected employEEs has kept me riled up a whole lot more than I deserve to be; I seriously find it unconscionable that they are doing the will of the 1% and ignoring and lying to US! That's why, in my considered opinion, it's time to GUILLOTINE the 1% and their political WHORES!

      Pwr 2 the 99%!
