One year ago the NYPD carried out "Operation Ivy League", arresting some Columbia University frat boys at great expense. They hoped to prove that rich people were vulnerable to drug laws too. I don't know that it's serving anybody other than cops greedy for overtime. Incarcerating people makes them more dangerous to all percentages.
