The wheels of justice roll slowly but they do roll. I believe many people are very shocked at the behavior of the police and had no idea how militarized they have become. This one thing being brought to peoples attention by Occupy has awakened many.

    • there are others who are also fighting we may not know about. the lawyers who are joining forces to sue the big banks on behalf of institutional investors. the fights in courts all over the land for the environment, foreclosures, rights. If it weren't for the internet i wouldn't have known about being able to bankrupt students loans, Yes you can, and if the Dept. of Education doesn't show up at your hearing its dismissed. Supreme Court ruled March of 10 on this. Many students are not aware that they can now (jan -1,-12) only have to pay 10% of their gross income after all living expenses and taxes to their student loans and if it isn't paid off in 20 years it is forgiven. Obama declared this november. many many other things that go unnoticed all the time.
