As my grandmother used to say; "never compare yourself to the worst" and this article isn't saying its better or worse. In some ways it is and in others its worse. The photos are telling. We must be vigilant to keep fighting the soiling of our nest.

    • I do remember the photos of the Ohio river being on fire. I am still struck by the trash people just throw anywhere they please. When I was 16 I jumped out of my mother's car to hand back a pop bottle to the fellow in front of us who tossed it out the window. People don't have to be aware or care about climate change just to clean up after themselves.
