The war in Iraq has ended and the war in Afghanistan will be over in a couple of years. This will be happy days for families and friends who love and support these brave men and women who protect and serve our country. However, there is a rude awakening when you get back and you will soon ask yourself, “Is this the country I fought for? Are these the people I fought to protect?” Being a former veteran myself- I can identify with what you are about to go through. Here is some advice that I learnt along the way that I would like to share with my fellow veterans.
