The real point is do we care what they choose to call themselves. When the Americas where found and your and my country created we were not Americans and Canadians.... but we choose to call ourselves this. I refer to the indigenous people as the Palestinians because that is what they wish to be called. last I checked there is no other people referring to themselves this way so what is the issue with them saying they are Palestinians?? The point of the matter is these people occupied this area long before Israel came along. True they have had many rulers over that time but so did the Mexicans and yet we don't refer to them as the Spanish or the French do we. This is a moot point and distracts from the real conversations to be had about the area.

THE LIBRARY yes the books you will find that are written in that point in history by the people who lived the history. Books older more accurate EXAMPLE America Writer Samuel L.Clemens-Mark Twain 1870-1905 wrote travel books as He Traveled around the world. SAM wrote a book called "THE INNOCENTS ABROAD" He talks about his visit to Palestine, JERUSALEM at that time.CHAPTERS 50 to 56.
VIDEOs less than half the information....remember Plato "Beware,Beware of the Man of One book for he is filled with half truths and there are no greater lies than half truths, for they can be mistaken for all the truth" READ! - 4 months ago

Thanks for the reference. That indeed may prove to be instructive.
I've requested a copy of "The Inncocents Abroad" from my local library's website, but I was actually able to find a brief transcript of the chapters that you reference. Here's a brief from "Mark Twain Visits Palestine In 1867:"
http://www.shechem.org/machon/mtwain/53.htm
If this is indeed taken from the book, then what is written here pretty much matches the video.
