Egged on in no small part by the Supreme Court’s decision to turn campaign finance into the wild west, a small group of donors have gotten increasing aggressive in their efforts to us their enormous wealth to influence elections. As Mother Jones lays out, this has given a decided advantage to Republicans and conservative candidates. Seventeen of the top 20 spenders seeking to buy election results are conservative: (IMAGE)

    • And that doesn't even include the Vast amounts of money being spent by 'superpacs'.
      Citizens United was the result of the Shrub stealing the election. Even most of the conservatives realize that the Citizens United decision has severely skewed our elections to give the 1% more influence. The difference is that the conservatives liked the decision.
