This gif from The Oatmeal explains, perfectly, the devastating impact the big-corporation-pushed piece of legislation SOPA/PIPA would have on the Internet.

Wikipedia reports that more than 90 million people have seen the Wikipedia blackout page, and more than 5 million have looked up their elected representatives’ contact information to let them know that the world needs photos of Oprah riding a jet ski with Jesus in outer space. And that, my friends, is what the Internet is all about.
