    • NO charges ?! Must be a rich kid involved or connected families ... There are different laws for the cops , and the rich ... and then there's the rest of us .

    • Surprised that they are fighting at all, usually they just shoot people and keep going, this is nothing new. I grew up in Compton, California and if you’re not strong enough to resist the pack mentality you’re doomed to become a part of it. All of these kids are heading for an early grave or prison SMH

    • I heard the kid who was beaten was part of a gang that jumped one of the attackers in this vid. This is just typical gang violence that happens daily in chicago.

just saying we intentionaly lie to ourselves about who we are, and then waste time with false shock when we are forced to confront the ugly truth.
we manufacture these kids.generation after generation.it happened yesterday, and it will happen again tomorrow.
when you send these winners to foriegn lands and train them to be killers, they will piss on dead arabs.
how could one expect anything else?yet for some illogical absurd reason we do.
we are just so in love with the bullshit about ourselves

ouch...you are probably right. humanity is what it is, but I don't think we could have survived this long as a species, if we completely resigned ourselves to those facts...somehow, we keep on resisting power, and all of its evil machinations, and occasionally, we experience a victory. you can't just lie down and resign yourself to it, even when you find yourself part of it from time to time....

that's my story and I'm stickin to it.

True . That is why i think TV is far more evil than people realize . It spawns the delusions ... and they are appealing . The seduction of what we WISH we were is a potent formula , especially in hard times , or infirmity people have little courage/strength to resist . "reality" TV actually sprang up BECAUSE people need these delusions to cope with the brutal struggle of their lives . Such crap TV has never before been seen , yet people eat it up . Because they are STARVING . Starving for hope , for justice , for happiness . A break from the anxiety of living in the world today . We know too much and have too little power over what happens in our lives . This is not how we evolved to live .

oh no i didnt mean humanity.the canadians are awesome for example.i was refering to us as americans more than anything else.we are all capable of the best and worst all at the same time, but as americans we seem to have honed in on the worst

i dont blame the media, but how we deal with it.wether a negative idea is presented via a cartoon, or in an oral telling of a tale, or on a cave painting, it is how we deal with that stimuli.
i mean if batman and robin came out today as opposed to when my parents were kids, it would have a disclaimer on it to not try this stuff at home, and this comic has graphic violence in it.
all things that once upon a time you could put out into the world without dumbass's taking a que from it.

I get where you are coming from, but neither of us broke into a warehouse filled with guns and stole a plane and flew to an island where we started a small war after watching Commando, did we?

im speaking about those small moments.those times when we are in situations far removed from a safe protocal to dictate what we should do.of course we all have our psychos and degenerates.as well as authority figures who suck at being authority.

but we as americans have cultivated a particular brand of douchebag.he will pee on dead soldiers.he will abuse those who cant do shit about it.he will light his farts on fire.he will think a drunk chick not concious is the same thing as permission to have sex.he will be a fantastic example of a human gone inhuman, and then blame everyone else but himself for what the inevitable results of his actions are.he tends to vote republican too, while i am at it.

and he will reproduce, and the cycle continues

    • It's not masculine to fight in this manner. I don't know why these guys think they are tough. They should challenge another male, the same size, one on one.

      Pathetic.

    • A similar event occurred in my town, and the victim was an ROTC student from the local university. He was defending his younger brothers from a gang made up of the local high school basketball stars...but because university towns are notorious for covering things like this up, the incident never made it to the press (also filmed and posted). Of course the excuse used for covering it up was that the attackers were juveniles, but the ROTC student was taken to the emergency room and is still undergoing surgeries, and it's been a couple of years.

There are no words to describe how this devastated his family. There were several brothers who were attacked, grade school kids, locals all their lives, played soccer, and they were in the park on their skateboards. I don't give a damn about the reasoning of the basketball players....they are thugs and should have been sent to prison, but they are all probably back on the basketball court.

    • What a bullshit report. "no charges at this hour, what people really want to know is what those attackers were after."

Where do they find these clueless stupid reporters? No, sweetie, people don't give a damn what those attackers were after, people want those thugs charged and removed from society.

The video has been removed from Youtube, this was the best report I could find and I too was disgusted by how crass the reporter was...
He was racially attacked by 6 or 7 youths and it was filmed for Entertainment!
