Note: earlier this week Israeli Intelligence officials warned Thailand officials that they had evidence of an "Al Qaeda style" terror plot to hit Bangkok.

Just a coincidence I'm sure...

Thailand has formally announced its recognition of Palestine as an independent state, making the Southeast Asian country the first country to recognize Palestine in 2012.

The Palestinian Authority said on Thursday that the Palestinian delegation at the UN received a formal letter from the Thai government, saying it has "officially recognized the state of Palestine and officially informed all permanent and observer missions to the United Nations in New York of this development."

The letter said that Thailand recognized the Palestinian state along the lines that existed before the 1967 Six-Day War.

The acting Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki hailed the move, saying, "Thailand's recognition of a Palestinian state is the first of the New Year 2012 and is a new achievement for Palestinian diplomacy."

Maliki added that Thailand's recognition brings to 131 the number of countries that have recognized a Palestinian state.

Palestinian Authority Chief Mahmoud Abbas also thanked Thailand for the move.

    • I say give them statehood. They obviously want it and Israel claims to want it. At the vary least it would put them on equal footing at the bargaining table regarding land division.

can you grant to those what they would not grant to others?
israel has been shooting for a two state solution for as long as i have been alive, and if im not mistaken have signed a treaty in the united nations to that very end.
but the thing is, can you expect any nation to give their blessing for a people to be granted statehood, when those people demand the destruction of the nation in question?

does that really seem like equal footing to reward a people with what they refuse to allow others?so much so to their own detriment?

it is like demanding i respect the civil liberties and free rights of some one as they are trying to kill me.i mean i would really like to avail them of all the freedom i myself demand.but i cant be expected to do so while that person is still trying to kill me right?

absolutely no credibility what so ever.which is why we have been going at it as we have for years, cuz i have no credibility, and you love arguing over the not credible.

as you post jew bashing thread after jew bashing thread as the current community who arent particularly interested in antisemitism even notice tha s your deal.but im the one lacking credibility.

tell me again how dancing proves terrorism?or how the jews control the banks and then attacked themselves on 9/11.talk about demanding credibility for the shit you say?

i guess fat mike touring there and with his athiest agenda noticing that they hated christians and jews isnt credible.certainly not nearly as credible as dancing=massive false flag operations.

      good stuff.

You never answered the question how you can to the conclusion that tha Buddhist hate Jews, and I don't know who "Fat Mike" is.

You only threw in some stale old charges of anti-semitism to distract from the fact that you clearly do not know what you are talking about, especially when you make the ridiculous claim that Thailand is a "Muslim nation" when the amount Thailand is of Buddhist majority LOL.
