That was freaking awesome! BTW, the delay from Sci-Fi to reality is about 20 years. I think it was a slideshow in the Smithsonian I saw once in a side room in the early 1980's that made it clear. I deduced from that show that it's the amount of time it takes for a kid watching Sci-Fi to grow into an Engineering degree and innovate what they loved as a kid. Of the thousands of kids watching Sci-Fi at least one will eventually make the important stuff.
