The contemplation of deity is the subject of Torah. In short each story is a continuation of the unfolding of the relationship between man and G-d. It is especially important here in Parasha Bo since the revelation has never before or since been so detailed and with so much demonstration of its effects as it does herein. This revelation is however, still but a prequel to the divine emanation that occurs further along on Mount Sinai. To all questions the Torah answers the same as the Zohar indicates in terms of the contemplation of deity.
