Unless you’ve been under a rock for the past couple of years, you know about predictions from some quarters that the world will end on Dec. 21, 2012. That date marks the end of a 5,125-year cycle as calculated by the now dead Mayan culture that once inhabited parts of southern Mexico,

    • Hey, I'm all for the end of time=money.
      But everyone please remember that there are millions of Maya still living in Central America who have not stopped observing the sacred calender of Quetzalcoatl.
      The UFO's never wisked them away like so many believe. They are still right here patiently waiting for us clueless Europeans to get our sorry asses together.

    • Its not really the end of time, its just really expensive to mail a new 5125 year stone calendar to everyone. So were discontinuing the product.

      I did exactly that in 1987 for Harmonic Convergence.
      I mailed 5,000 gold-foil stamped Sun Stone invitations to leaders around the world for the wedding of "the son of our heavenly Father and the daughter of our earthly Mother."
      I made the front page of the LATimes on August 14, 1987 and was arrested. The whole thing cost at least $5,000 but it was well worth it! I Occupied the California Forest Service.
      144 of us celebrated the beginning of the end of the Nine Hells in the ancient Bristlecone forest of California (oldest living things on Earth).
      We witnessed sudden lasting peace in Central America, People Power that ousted Marcos, the end of Apartheid, the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union within a few days and years.
      People need to remember this.
      It is real. We just need to get all ego out of the way!

      I was feeling completely hopeless about the state of our planet today until I read your kind words. Depression over what we humans are doing can be overwhelming at times but it's good to know there are still some of us left who truly care.
