Palin: Gingrich will ‘clobber’ Obama

Failed Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin all but endorsed Newt Gingrich on Saturday, saying Florida voters should “rage against the machine, vote for Newt.”

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro asked the former Alaska governor how Gingrich could claim that he was not a Washington insider after being in Congress for 20 years, including serving as the Speaker of the House.

“Look at the players in the establishment who are fighting so hard against him,” Palin explained. “They want to crucify him because he’s tapped into that average, everyday tea party grassroots movement that has said enough is enough of the establishment that tries to run the show and tweak rules and laws and regulations for for their own good, and not for our nation’s own good. Well, when both party machines — and many in the media — are trying to crucify Newt Gingrich for bucking the tide, and bucking the establishment, that tells you something.

She added: “And I say, you know, you got to rage against the machine at this point in order to defend our republic and save what is good and secure and prosperous about our nation. … So, if for no other reason, rage against the machine, vote for Newt. Annoy a liberal, vote Newt.”

Even though polls show otherwise, Palin insisted that Gingrich was also the candidate that had the best chance at beating President Barack Obama in the general election.

“I think that comes down to who can articulate their ideas, their solutions best,” she said. “And in a campaign, the way that you articulate that is in a debate. And I’ve appreciated, again, Newt Gingrich’s, his style in debates, his thinking, his way of explaining what it is that he stands for. So I think that in a debate, Newt Gingrich would clobber Barack Obama.”

Using violent rhetoric to describe how Gingrich would fair against Obama is nothing new for Fox News employees like Sarah Palin. Last week, Fox News host Steve Doocy claimed that Gingrich would “take off the head of the president” during a debate.

Actually, she did try very hard to lose that baby, knowing full well that by flying and travelling extensively for many hours after losing the waters it had a very good chance of resulting in a stillbirth. To her great chagrin, it failed.

No, that is sheer speculation, ugly and mean-spirited. Really repulsive. She actually admitted that she did think about an abortion, but she and her husband decided against it. They decided on the side of life and God.

And Left-wingers HATE her for it.

    • A vote for Mr. Gingrich in the GOP Primary makes Liberals very happy. The only way Mr. Gingrich could beat Pres. Obama is to club him.

    • So the man who preaches family values but has none is going to "clobber" the man who stands for family values by the example he sets? Ok Palin you keep telling yourself that. But if Gingrich is actually nominated, the media is going to tear him a new one when it comes to "family values" and the is just the beginning of what will be done to him. If he becomes the nominee, boy I tell you we will see some interesting skeletons out of that closet.

Dont we all, its like watching Satan himself just fail over and over and over again. Everyone secretly wants Gingrich to win purely for entertainment purposes. As long as he doesn't get elected, now that would be embarrassing for us as a nation.

    • Gingrich, Santorum OR Romney will clobber Obama, of course.

Santorum on principles and morality and taxes.

Romney on business in the REAL world, and REAL knowledge of economics.

Gingrich on having actually DONE things in Congress and his incredible scholarship and knowledge of international affairs.

And ALL of them on Roe v. Wade and same-sex marriage and states' rights!

There are now only 51 WEEKS left for the greatest country in the world to endure Obama.

      "Curses FOILED* again"

*In fiction, a foil is a character who contrasts with another character (usually the antagonist) in order to highlight particular qualities of the other character.[1][2] A foil's complementary role may be emphasized by physical characteristics. A foil usually differs drastically. For example in Cervantes' Don Quixote, the dreamy and impractical Quixote is thin in contrast to his companion, the realistic and practical Sancho Panza, who is fat. Another popular fictional character, Sherlock Holmes, is tall and lean; his right-hand man Doctor Watson, meanwhile, is often described as "middle-sized, strongly built. Sydney Carton and Charles Darnay from A Tale of Two Cities are also considered classic foils, though ironically they look exactly alike. " The "straight man" in a comedy duo is a comic foil. While the straight man portrays a reasonable and serious character, the other portrays a funny, dumb, or simply unorthodox one.

Have you considered script writing for the WWE? I think you have talent.

    • Palin's rise to the top of the income ladder based on duping stupid Republicans is laughable and I must say enjoyable is some aspects--the ripping off fools part!

She is sadly just another whore politician that preys on the gullible among the Republican flock of dupes.

She is walking away a multimillionaire, which is a sad commentary upon our flawed political system.

That is sicking that this dumb ass got rich due to a bunch of ignorant people. The only reason she talks good of Newt is that he said that she would be part of his adminstration if he gets elected. She was bought out by the Koch brothers and did in the original Tea Party.

Gee. A couple of months ago, everyone was saying that Palin was simply trying to sell books.

The abstainers will be those who would ordinarily vote for Obama. The Democrats are already desperate to get people out to vote by any means. They are now fighting the just laws requiring IDs to vote for example. The Democrats are actually planning to get buses to offer rides and "snacks" to get people - people who otherwise would not consider voting - to the polls, bribing them on the way.

The Republicans are thrashing it out, getting stronger with each state. Obama has no chance, of course, and we will take the Senate and usher in decades of Republican ascendency!

I see you spout the Leftist party line. Whenever someone does not align with their ideology, they claim that the person has been influenced by Fox News.

Therefore, it is obvious that it is YOU who is parroting what you have been told. Is it MSNBC or the Huffy Post this time? Or one of those anti-capitalist Liberal comedians I see you Left-wingers quoting and praising so much?

Thomas Sowell predicted that the Left with start rioting. But there will not be any war, of course. Americans are not like Europeans. We are a moderate people. There are Left-wingers who want, and hope for, violence in the streets and the overthrow of the civilized order, but they are a small, yet loud minority with which Americans will be repulsed if they start their "rebellion."

That's probably right. Sorry for taking so long I didn't see this e mail. Don't like the new e mail coloring, light gray, it's hard to see. A French Dictator said the the reason for religion was to keep the poor from killing the rich. These Republicans are claiming to be Christians, if they are Christians I want no part of it, others may think the same way. The World is changing, so are the people that are getting screwed every day.

Well, virtually all people in high political office claim to be church goers. All Christian. Clinton said he did. Obama used to talk about his church in Chicago and how it was a centerpiece of his adult life.

      Some other quotes:

Woodrow Wilson, 1911: “America was born a Christian nation.”

FDR: “(America was) founded on the principles of Christianity.”

In 1954, Chief Justice Earl Warren: “I believe no one can read the history of our country without realizing that the Good Book and the spirit of the Savior have from the beginning been our guiding geniuses.”

Harry Truman: “This is a Christian nation.”

Jimmy Carter: “We have a responsibility to try to shape the government so that it does exemplify the will of God.

And Romney will probably will get the nomination, and look what some Christians have said about his religion: A cult.

It is interesting to note that Americans have virtually never killed people in the name of religion, and it is the country that has the most "believers." I hope you do not refer to the witch trials and such, because they are blow completely out of proportion: It was for a short duration, and few were actually killed.

    • With missiles she can see from her house! Palin said what she was told by players in the establishment, that is who backs her and Gingrich, and they have plucked those lines straight from the mouths of the people and tweaked them a little. You actually have to use your own brain to think, but don't tell her that.

The rage against Sarah Palin reveals many things about the Left. They are envious and afraid of her. Palin can gather many supporters and rouse the base. Palin does not mouth morality; she lives it.

Palin is the nightmare of far-left radical females. That is because she is a strong woman, having become governor of a state. Yet, family is so important to her that she gave birth to a child, knowing full well it is retarded; she refused to end its life. And she is beautiful.

    • Mishima:

You know nothing about women or what you call the Left. The rage against Sarah Palin is in itself a misnomer. There is no rage against Palin...she is not important enough to rage against. Envy and fear is not what her critics feel, more like pity and disgust.

But let's talk about the real issue for a moment, which is the Republican agenda. Somewhere along the line, Republicans got it in their heads that they are the party that represents families, and as such, they elevate women like Sarah Palin, who, in their small minds, stand for family values. But there are lots of families out there that the Republican party refuses to acknowledge, simply because those families do not fit into the narrow definition of family the Republican party espouses, and so, the Republican solution is not only to deny those families any acknowledgment, but to go a step further and deny them person-hood....while at the same time handing the status of person-hood over to corporations.

My definition of a strong woman is not Sarah Palin. Palin is a loud, ignorant and obnoxious woman who is clueless about the privilege that has transported her to a position of power in this nation. My definition of a strong woman is the single mother, living in the ghetto, who raises her children without a husband to support her, who teaches her children right from wrong, in spite of the prevalence of wrong engulfing her world. This is my definition of a strong woman, and I feel nothing for Sarah Palin but contempt and disgust, in spite of the fact that someone else is raising her child as she shills for corporate America...and seriously, do you even understand the definition of the word retarded?

Republicans are morally and ethically bankrupt....having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. They can win elections, and enact legislation to further privilege their position, but they cannot change the fact that families that do not fit their narrow definition of family will continue to form, flourish and prosper, with or without their blessing.

Palin is feminine and strong. I will tell you something about men. The whacked-out men haters and feminists claim that men are "afraid" of strong women. That is absolutely not true, of course.

The TRUTH is that men are attracted to femininity and not turned off by strength, intelligence and power. If a woman can maintain femininity and really be a woman, those very factors- strength, power, and intelligence - turn ON most men.

And that is what Sarah Palin is! And the Left hates her for it.
