Former presidential candidate and Mitt Romney supporter John McCain (R-AZ) expressed Sunday morning his fatigue over the number of debates in this Republican nomination cycle.
“We’ve got to stop the debates,” McCain told Meet The Press‘ David Gregory. “Enough with the debates, because they are driving up our candidates’, all of them, unfavorability. We have enough of that. They’ve turned into mud wrestling instead of an exposition of all our candidates views. And it’s time to recognize who the real adversary is, and it’s not each other.”
There have been a total of 19 GOP presidential debates this campaign season so far.

McCain doesn't want the American public to know what the candidates stand for because it drives up their unfavorable ratings. Maybe it's because they are void of ideas and he doesn't want people to realize this. Remember this is the same man that wants the country to be in a perpetual war, like the rest of the GOP. God save us from idiots and fools.

Stop the debates because they drive up our candidates unfavorable ratings? Did I hear that right? He wants to stop the debates because the more the American people hear their candidates, the more they dislike them.

The implosion of the GOP continues. Actually, self-implosion would be more accurate, because they enabled the very people that are destroying their party from the inside.
Ha, it's almost poetic.

The debates are making the GOP look like An Old French whore in the daylight. Imagine if McCain had had debates with Newt, instead of a gentlemen, like Obama.
Newt might have pointed out that he was "Last in his class McCain (despite his father being commandant), Who crashed his Plane; Came home--- took up with Keating---the biggest crook in the state.
Or maybe Newt would remind people of McCain's first wife before he took up with the beer fortune heiress.
When McCain returned to America in 1973 to a fanfare of publicity and a handshake from Richard Nixon, he discovered his wife had been disfigured in a terrible car crash three years earlier. Her car had skidded on icy roads into a telegraph pole on Christmas Eve, 1969. Her pelvis and one arm were shattered by the impact and she suffered massive internal injuries.
When Carol was discharged from hospital after six months of life-saving surgery, the prognosis was bleak. In order to save her legs, surgeons
had been forced to cut away huge sections of shattered bone, taking with it her tall, willowy figure. She was confined to a wheelchair and was forced to use a catheter.
Through sheer hard work, Carol learned to walk again. But when John McCain came home from Vietnam, she had gained a lot of weight and bore little resemblance to her old self.
Today, she stands at just 5ft4in and still walks awkwardly, with a pronounced limp. Her body is held together by screws and metal plates and, at 70, her face is worn by wrinkles that speak of decades of silent suffering.
For nearly 30 years, Carol has maintained a dignified silence about the accident, McCain and their divorce. But last week at the bungalow where she now lives at Virginia Beach, a faded seaside resort 200 miles south of Washington, she told The Mail on Sunday how McCain divorced her in 1980 and married Cindy, 18 years his junior and the heir to an Arizona brewing fortune, just one month later.Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1024927/The-wife-John-McCain-callously...
Moral----- Never get up close and personal with a GOP candidate. They only look good in the dark and if you get close the smell will overpower you.

I guess when every debate sinks the Republicans deeper, even McCain starts to bellow. I hope they have 20 more debates. I can't wait for when one of these morons debates Obama.

Imho, this traditional saying comes to mind to aptly fit this situation: " Shut
your trap and let them only THINK you're a dunce. For Christs sakes don't
open your fool mouth and proove it to them !!! " Obviously McLame doesn't
want them to let the cat out of the bag on that score. The Rs are multiplying
like rabbits now. I see I wasn't wrong to critize Palin so thoroughly. She backs
Gingrich so aggressively that she seems to identify with his methods, And he
is one mad hatter. Wanting to impose the death penalty for possession of MJ,
indeed. I can say this safely because I don't own firearms, don't advocate the
use of violent crime to resolve problems, and have lived a peaceful life. But
there are so many Millions of people who regularly possess & use MJ, and
who do possess & use firearms. I can't think of anyone trying harder to get
himself shot & killed than to advocate such rabbid extremism to victimize
others with, even if pitbull Palin is his supporter. Gingrich IS a dunce as she is. - 4 months ago
