'Tea Party 10' Targeted In Multimillion Dollar Campaign By Liberal Super PAC

WASHINGTON -- A liberal super PAC is set Monday to launch what it is billing as a multimillion dollar campaign to "Take Down the Tea Party Ten."

The effort by the progressive outfit CREDO aims to use the new big-spending super PAC model, which can accept unlimited donations, to back extensive local organizing and "education" aimed at defeating 10 members of Congress seen by the left as the worst of the worst.

"We're talking about some of the most odious members of Congress. Even for Republicans these guys are low," said Campaign Manager Matthew "Mudcat" Arnold in a statement.

"We're going to empower local activists to organize their friends and neighbors to lay out the truth about their representatives in the most basic terms," Arnold added. "They are anti-woman. They are anti-science. They are hypocritical, bigoted, and have said and done things that are downright crazy. They've done more to embarrass their constituents than they have to govern or work toward solutions. They are unfit for Congress, and we're going to help their constituents hold them accountable."

The first six lawmakers targeted by the group are Reps. Sean Duffy (R-Wis.), Steve King (R-Iowa), Allen West (R-Fla), Joe Walsh (R-Ill.), Frank Guinta (R-N.H.), and Chip Cravaack (R-Minn.). Four more will be chosen by CREDO's members.

Although super PACs can take unlimited donations, the group is boasting that, with 11,000 donors, it is much more a grassroots organization.

    • Looked this morning. I have a large supply of stuff on the ground in the chicken coop to send as a donation. It should fit right in.
Limited government, fiscal responsibility, individual freedom. The Tea Party and its principles are just what this country needs. The hate the earners, anti capitalism, statist movement that is afloat in the White House and among the anti Tea Party bigots is not working.

Other than in Republican propaganda none of your statements have the slightest basis in reality. I guess like Goebbels you believe if you shout slogans long enough and loud enough the weak minded will believe them. That's why the Tea Party Brownshirts have got to be removed from Congress.

Oh, please choose Eric Cantor. It really doesn't make any difference if another Republican replaces him. He is incompetent as a legislator. He is made out of arrogance, hate and personal ambition. This guy has got to go. He wants to knife Boehner in the back and replace him as Speaker. That would put him third in line as President. He has got to go.

    • My disillusionment with the Dems leads me to believe that the Dem Super Pac will be all hat no cattle, will fold, apologize to their targets and go back to their whimper closet.

    • Now you're talking. Tangible ---pragmatic---specific. Like modern western medicine. If you know you've got polyps obstructing your colon, you remove them. They are dangerous---potentially cancerous ---they could metastasize and take down the whole body politic. DR. CREDO we pray that "Operation Operation" will be successful.

    • about time....the GOP, with the covert backing of the Tea Party, is so well organized, from top to bottom, that it is going to take something like this to either stand up to them, or become the ground they walk on. Slowly but surely, tea party initiatives have been electing people to transform this nation into their image of what it should be, and resistance is long overdue....

    • It is quite amazing. The Left uses big money to buy politicians, then the radical unions buy more candidates. Now, they are using Soros-millions and millions to force their leftist, government-loving agenda on the public.

You are either lying, or you failed to read the whole article -- this is less about money and much, much more about 'troops on the ground' in the states of these repteatards. That's right, PEOPLE/VOTERS/CONSTITUENTS are the 'money' being spent on getting this pondscum FIRED!

Pwr 2 the 99%! DISMEMBER the fucking teatards!

    • More power to them. I hope they are successful. The person pictured has no business in a leadership role. I'm sure some of you would agree...

You "Ringers" act as if Soros is the richest man in the world. Unlike the Koch brothers, he is a patriotic American, who uses his money for the betterment of mankind.
There is an endless supply of rich/corporate contributors that sponsors super packs for Conservative candidates. Money is flowing in from all over the world. This is the primary purpose for Citizen United.

Soros is a socialist who wants world government. He is rabidly anti-capitalist and has bashed America countless times. He has destroyed the lives of millions of people with his financial manipulations. Hey, how do you think he got so rich, anyway?

You Ringers are good at getting off topic. It is an established fact that Soros is a contributor to liberal causes, which I think is extremely admirable. He happens to be one of the world's biggest Philanthropist.
The Koch brothers/.Mitt Romney are master manipulators, who have/are engaged in business transactions that are directly responsible for the destruction of numerous lives.
Like I previously stated, "hooray for the Super Pac"...:)

Don't know about Gates, but I know Warren Buffet doesn't do anything if he doesn't profit from it. Want to know the dirty little secret about th "Buffet" rule? I have an advantage over Warren Buffet, when I buy a stock, it doesn't automatically go up in price because I bought. It does when the news gets out he bought it. By raising taxes on investment income, I am less able to buy stocks, and so my advantage over him is lessened. That story about his secretary is bull, he knows what he is doing.

      You got it!

Compare the Koch brothers with Soros. I looked it up: Soros contributes a bit more, but they are all in the same ballpark.

The Koch family is condemned, yet Soros - right on this thread - praised and praised.

All these people are really doing is claiming that anyone who donates to anti-LEFTIST causes is evil, and those to pro-LEFTIST causes is good.

Kind of anti-freedom, anti-logic, and self-serving. What else to expect from LEFT-WINGERS?

    • This is music to my ears! Take down the pretty boy reality star Sean Duffy in my state! West is a disgrace to this country and Walsh is just a plain dead beat loser who can't even take care of his kids. And then makes excuses for it. Just what we need.
