Do you enjoy a tasty libation? Have you had enough of the political discourse in the United States? Then my friends -we have the perfect political party you can join- The Cocktail Party.
Origins
This political movement was started in the summer of 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia by a 35 year old Louisiana native Mary Campbell. The idea came from her Louisiana roots that value a good cocktail hour. Mrs. Campbell said, “There was a time when we were a lot more civil as a society because we sat down and took a pause.” She goes on to say that, “The cocktail is the perfect symbol for what they are trying to promote. It stands or falls on the right mix of individual ingredients. Just like a good democracy.”
