A rabbi defends 'poor man' Andrew Adler for saying Obama should be assassinated.

Even though this issue been covered on most mainstream news sites such as CNN, and Israeli newspapers, I haven't heard anything from the broadcast teevee news.

Usually when someone makes a threat on the president, even if it is just on Facebook, it makes the nightly teevee news.

If this story has been broadcast on the nightly teevee news, please link to the video of the broadcast if possible.

    • so when helen thomas said a bunch of dumb shit, and was removed from her post, it wasnt because she was wrong, but because she was unfairly persecuted by the jewish run media,backed by the adl and such.poor helen had her freedom of speech taken from her, even tho no one has prevented her from saying anything, cuz the jews are part of some secret conspiracy.

      then adler does the same thing,talking shit he should have said, and as a result was let go from his post.yet it is some how different?

      their is no conspiracy despite certain people trying to sell it.no jewish communities are in an uproar cuz adler got let go.we got one douchebag rabbi talking shit, as if it is ever hard to find a religious dipshit to take any position,regardless of what religion they are affiliated with.

      this story isnt about the jews, or obama, or some random shit talking opinionated zealot.it is about equality and the lack of it by those who claim to be all about it.

      crying a river about how little this story is reported, when it is a non story, when one could equaly question why was the helen thomas story so overly reported, when it too was a non story.

      those who sell the "jews run the media" crap are being fed, and when evidence comes to light that proves otherwise, it doesnt sell.cuz the market wants the bigotry.that is the only actual story here.let me know when adler does his tv tour, cuz it wont happen.

      The difference is that Helen Thomas never said that the Lebanese or any Muslin national groups should assassinate President Obama.

      All she did was state her opinion that the Zionists Patriots (the original terrorists of the Middle East) should go back to where they came from: Poland, Russia and other parts of Eastern Europe.

      If this were a White Patriot group, you know the kind of groups who everyone is complaining about supporting Ron Paul, or a Muslim group who said take out the president, we would never hear the end of it from the Anti-Defamation League, the Southern Poverty Law Center and all the rest of the neocon and anti-racist crowds.

      wow, so it now it isnt the result that bothers you as previously contended,serving as the basis for all your complaints.ya know the freedom of speech thing being denied.
      your issue now is the content.freedom of speech (your classification for being fired) is acceptable now, just depending on what was said.it is no longer about protecting speech, but protecting the speech your value system accepts only.

      it is the same result, no matter how you try to spin it, and you will only make it worse on yourself with every rationalization you try to offer.

      and how much did we hear about helen thomas from the adl, and how much do we here from the adl about adler?its the same.the equality exists, no matter how much you want to pretend it doesnt.the adl attacked adler, the rabbi in this very video even mentioned his distain for the adl in doing so.but you want to pretend it didnt happen, cuz it would be required in order for you to uphold your bigoted positions.cuz the reality doesnt match what you want it to be, so you alter it to suite you.

      Adler - recommened that the Mossad kill the US president for not being friendly to Jews in Israel -silence; virtually no coverage on teevee but a few Jews here and there saying that this was irreprehensible.

      Thomas - recommened that Jewish patriots move back to their real homeland not their imaginary homeland - massive teevee coverage; a hoard of angry Jews on teevee and all over the internet calling for her to lose her job and all her awards.

      bot thomas and adler expeienced this.but thomas was a victim, while adler got what he deserved according to you.making freedom of speech not the paramount right you claim is to be availed to all.it seems only when the speech meets your values it is to be protected, and speech that doesnt meet your standards is perfectly acceptable to crush.

      while adler was not joking, he was also not making a declaration.just the same as when the neocons acknowledge the benefits to nationalist pride when a terrorist strike happens, they arent guilty of hoping for one.and adler is hardly a man from whom mosaad takes direction, or one who influences those who give mosaad direction.

    • This is the same rhetoric of Muslim terrorists, and yet this Rabbi expects us to accept it because it's in the name of protecting Jews. The author that the Rabbi is speaking of wrote about various methods Israel should take to ensure its own safety. The Muslim extremists declare Jihad against the West in the name of protecting the Holy Land and Muslims around the world. The Jewish author is clearly more extreme than the terrorists by suggesting the assassination of the President. Leave it to religious fundamentalists to excuse their own hatred & violent rhetoric, yet seek the persecution & execution of those of another faith.

    • I do not care who says it, or who they say it about. Publicly calling for anyone's assassination is way beyond the realms of decency and human civility.

      I listened to about 2 minutes of that guy. That's all I could tolerate.
