I feel the same way when people say "You create your own reality." But that's not what Braden said if you listen closer. I got that we have all created this reality, which we have.

regardless of how he got there it is intuitively correct...we all learn through our own experiences and he does a good job of sharing what should be understood as common knowledge...after saying that scrutiny is always an appreciated part of understanding as well and must be also accepted from every perspective

I have heard this "theory" before , it has been floating around for years , and now has a publicist . Sandscrit IS the great and most ancient spiritual language , as any real expert non zealot in the field , even Joseph Campbell taught so in his classes . This man is NO scientist . This is a good way for the Abrahamic religions to gain a new zealothold on peoples mentality . How does religion stop people from killing each other ? Has it ever ?

I am a huge fan of Rupert Sheldrakes' research , and was terribly dismayed at how such meticulous theories were utterly twisted ... to a clear purpose they DO NOT suggest at all !

I think you do not understand , that god is the top of a fascist power structure . That mentality starts within , and manifests without . Anything with a figurehead does this . Can't have it both ways . If god is involved it is manipulative dogma with a single true purpose . Unequal power . The God of religions, yes - but that doesn't mean there is no God, nor that what he talks about is wrong or false. You seem to confuse religion and spirituality, and what he talks about is deeply spiritual and absolutely not religious.

God , is a human creation , that is first seen in religion . For authentic spirituality you must go back farther ... Life is what i serve . The experience of the divine cannot be authentic and have an interpreter or go between . You are One with All , or you aren't . You are cut off from the garden of eden . If you leave , it is because you listened to god , when he told you to go . Separation is an illusion , god is a delusion . have you not understood the language of another species ? Plants ? There is no god . it is a wedge issue of the highest order . The very ancient religion knew that . The great mother earth , she exists . The sun too The moon . These are all real things . The cosmos . What need have i of faith , when i have EXPERIENCE ? The magic of life i see in all things , it is the concept of a man in the sky that is floating around somewhere , that allows evil to happen , that is so sullying to the beauty of all i do experience . If we eliminated this concept , like children eventually rule out Santa , we would all be better off . We would take responsibility for our own actions and our own world . That is your set of beliefs, that's all, and you are still equating God with religions and what they claim.

The invention of god is where humanity went wrong , this is just another way to push YOUR deity on ME , with ANOTHER book . Once a "spirituality is written down , it dies . Forever after indoctrination must start in childhood , for authentic EXPERIENCE is no longer valid in it , only the book and dogma withing the sacred text .

The earth , yes . connection through attachment , also yes . Are we all not one ? Of course we are , this is KNOWN . As the poet Rumi says " Inside the great mystery that is , we don't really own anything " It seems the height of arrogance to identify the supreme being as a humanoid personality as we do , And a male . What if the universe created itself and the planets and stars have consciousness ? There is so much we do not know and cannot understand , possessing it through the cunning use of labels , is highly premature . In this culture , god is a brand name for organized christian power structures . I suppose , if he had chosen a different letter , it would be " Allah , eternal in the body " instead of God . Jehovah , Zeus , Apollo , Zarathustra . Brand names only . All of existence is beyond names and our feeble minded concepts . Brand names are for marketing . If you have the experience already , why buy ? This man is re branding what the mystic poets gave away for free . If any good comes of him ( and i hope it does ) , it will be purely by the determination the seeker that stumbles upon him has for authentic experience . He reeks of dishonesty . It seems to me a spirit trap , that will cut you off from your own life . I suspect many will flock to him and find refuge in his teachings . Refuge from a reality too overwhelming for them .

Interesting that you should quote Rumi who was a devout Sufi and constantly referred to God. Oh, and Zarathustra was not a god but a prophet. As for the rest, that is only your fear talking and your own personal labeling, and what you describe is just another definition of God. As for the rest of your post, it only reflects your fears and insecurities.

My fears and insecurities ? And it has nothing to do with the long history of atrocities committed in the name of god , by people who will not allow any other belief ? All that is totally unrelated to the original video to which I posted a link, and by no means are all religions the way you describe them. Don't bring me into your argument either, where did I say that I trust "god", in your opinion which god would that be? I know many Christians, Jews and Muslims who serve the God they ascribe to without all that negativity you write about, who are good people doing a great deal of good. You seem to be throwing out the baby with the bath water, broad-brushing all believers in their respective religions and God along with the bigots, extremists and zealots.
